My two kids and I went in to Dewey Ford today to really just test drive a couple of cars. Dennis Omeara was the salesman that worked with us and he was so kind and helpful. He wasn't pushy at all and just answered my questions. With my husband being deployed to Afghanistan he understood my situation of doing this alone without the help of my spouse. He just said we will make it work for you and he did. He was wonderful. I have to admit, when I walked into Dewey Ford, I asked for a female sales person and the girl said, "we don't have any" and I said okay...and along came Dennis. I had nothing fear, he was very easy to work with and that is what I was hoping for. Kim Willer worked some magic and got me a great rate and a price that I could afford and I'm so thankful he could do that for me. His closing and signing of the documents were easy and painfree. He's a very kind man and I enjoyed working with him. Scott Fluegel was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with teaching me how to use the Insyn feature in my new Ford Escape. He explained things clearly and with enough detail to make me feel like I knew what I was doing. Of course, I would like to have a little tiny "Scott" to put in my pocket because I had a few more questions when I got home but that is what the manual is for! I haven't had to purchase a car on my own in the past 11 years and honestly, I was scared to death to come in today. But, my experience today with Dewey Ford was by far the best car shopping day I have ever had and I drove off the lot happy and proud. Not only were those three guys great to us but also the rest of the staff at Dewey Ford were all extremly nice, helpful and gratious. I had a few memebers of your staff thank me as we walked out the door to our new Ford Escape! I know my husband Mitch who is currently serving in Afghanistan will appreciate that his wife and kids came in to test drive some SUV's and drove home happy in our new 2011 Ford Escape! Georgios was awesome - we loved working with him. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable and went to bat for us with regards to the price - even though it was still a little high. I want to make sure that Georgios receives a high score. As for the overall experience, I felt a little pushed into the extended warranty and the Identity Theft policies. They were both already added into the financial paperwork (along with GAP Insurance)before each item was discussed. I did not like that experience nor did I like being pushed into it. We have since cancelled the extended warranty, did not get the GAP Insurance and found out later that you can not cancel the Identity Theft policy. I don't think any of the items were really explained to me and that the one policy could not be cancelled. What also soured this experience is that the radiator and transmission had to be replaced 2 days after we purchased the vehicle. My husband called Dewey Ford and basically told we were on our own - there was no 3 day cancellation of purchase and my husband didn't think they treated him very well. This was the 2nd car we had purchased from Dewey - I don't know that we would go back because of the financing and the way my husband was treated after the purchase. Luckily, the car was still under the factory warranty so it was fixed at no charge to us. We took it to a different dealer to have repaired as we weren't happy with Dewey Ford at that time. More
We recently bought our new Ford Edge from Dewey Ford. We absolutely love the car! Right after we got it, we took it on trips to Washington, DC and Denver, Colorado, and it made the trips as comfortable as w absolutely love the car! Georgios Symeonidis took very good care of us, helping us with every phase of the purchase process. He made us feel like we were dealing with a family member. I've since been back for my regular service, and found that the entire Dewey team is like that. They treat you like you're the most important person in the world. I'd definitely recommend the Dewey team to anybody who'd even starting to think about buying a car! More
We have purchsed many cars over the years, and have dealt with many Des Moines area dealerships - NONE could compare to the service we received at Dewey Ford. Andrew began helping us over the internet and was prompt, honest and friendly. He did not try to push us past our budget or talk us into something that we were not sure about. When we arrived at the dealership, Andrew was helping another customer (he actually called to let us know that he would be busy when we arrived!), so Stefanie took over. She was very helpful. She listened to our needs and our wants and found us the perfect certified used vehicle. There was no price haggling, and none of the usual "sales banter" that we have had to deal with at other dealerships. The dealership understood our situation and even held our new car for 4 days until we could get our trade in to the dealership. When we arrived to sign all of the final papers, the staff was very friendly. Every single employee who walked through the room said hello, and most had something nice to say to our kids also! Jessica was there to help us learn about all of the different features in our new car, but our daughters were tired and grumnpy by that point, so we had to rush through the process. No fault of hers - she was great. :) Stefanie and Andrew will be our go to people in the future. We will never use another dealership. We got a great vehicle at the best price possible, and received out of this world customer service throughout the entire process. Thank you Dewey Ford! More

Mike Kulla is the best car salesman I ever dealt with. He was knowledgeable, friendly and did everything in his power to find me exacly what I was looking for at a price I could afford. We wanted a good trade in offer (the price of the used vehicle was already lower than the Blue Book value!) and after some polite negotiation, we settled on a fair price. We got excellent financing, and the finance guy, customer care specialist, and sales consultant all stayed late to make sure we left with the car we wanted, at the price we wanted. More
Friendly salesperson, generous trade-in allowance, 0% financing - what's not to like? They let me take my time both browsing the available inventory and test-driving the car I liked.
