2016 PILOT AWD TOURING KEYLESS CONTROL PROBLEM DIAGNOSIS I brought the vehicle in twice for the same problem. The first time the problem was not diagnosed but to the dealers credit I was not charged for diag I brought the vehicle in twice for the same problem. The first time the problem was not diagnosed but to the dealers credit I was not charged for diagnostic services. I did my own research and concluded that the problem was most likely being caused by a failure of the keyless control unit. The second time I took the vehicle in I told the service people about my thoughts and they confirmed my analysis. The keyless control unit was replaced and we don't seem to be having the problem any more. The people I dealt with were very nice and I have no complaints in that regard. I know that some problems can be hard to diagnose however it was disappointing that no where in the Honda dealer/corporate system was the possible cause of the problem identified. That does not reflect very well on Honda's corporate data base systems for problem causes and solutions. More
Nice service rep at fair price. took my fathers MY09 CR-V for oil change, booked appt online for Sat 1:30pm and was done around 4:00pm. Not bad for a busy Saturday.
