I had been looking for a new car for over a year. I FINALLY narrowed it down to three in which I test drove. All fairly comparable crossover SUV's. I was shocked for two reasons. 1) I didn't realize how much I would like the KIA SORENTO and 2) I was treated with respect at KIA when I came in to JUST TEST DRIVE! Steven was informative, friendly and helpful. I remember my husband and I exchanged looks both thinking the same thing, "That was the most enjoyable car dealer experience I have ever had." I wish we would have stopped there, but we choose to test drive another SUV right after leaving KIA. Again the SUV was comparable to the Sorento. When we left THAT test drive we looked at each other and said “Now that was the experience I was expecting at a dealership.” I was disrespected, insulated and felt I needed a shower after shaking their hands. I was so bitter about the car buying experience I waited another two months to even think about it stepping back into a dealership. Steven was on vacation and Curt helped us immediately. Curt provided us with what we needed in a timely fashion. There was no kicking of the tires or “if you buy today, I will throw in a car charger for FREE!” or “I have an appointment in 30 minutes with some else to look at this exact car.” He made my whole attitude about buying a car change. I felt he listened to my needs, wants and request. We were in and out of the dealership in under two hours. Most of that time was Curt locating the exact car I wanted. I signed the papers and received a call from Curt four hours later stating my car was ready for its new driver…ME! Curt spent the time going over all the features and HOW TO USE THEM which extremely helped! I know I can call him any time I have an issue and he will guide me. Thank you DICK HANNAH KIA! This is one for the record books, at least my record book. We were at Vancouver Kia getting my brand new Soul fueled up (I had purchased the evening before) when I looked across the lot and spotted wha book. We were at Vancouver Kia getting my brand new Soul fueled up (I had purchased the evening before) when I looked across the lot and spotted what appeared to be a very nice Ford 4x4 My partner, John, has been wanting a truck for a least the past 5-years but our finances has prevented us from actually purchasing one. Once he took a look at the truck he was convinced, he would like to try to buy it. (This truck was imaculate and had every bell and whistle imaginable and an amazing price)(we have had several people comment about the fact they thought it was a brand new truck, when in fact it is not) I was a financial challenge for Mike Menzie, our sales person and he pulled through with flying colors for me, so I said to John, "tell Michael you are intrested and see what happens". Well to make a long story ..... not so long. We purchsed two vehicles in one weekend. Michale Menzie really came through for us. He was responsive to our questions and concerns and I loved that he just laid it out for us. No games no hassles. We are both incredibly happy. This was by far the best car buying experience we've ever had. We were very specific in what we wanted and after spending two days in Portland going from lot to lot and speaking with many salesmen and gettin had. We were very specific in what we wanted and after spending two days in Portland going from lot to lot and speaking with many salesmen and getting the same answer of "it's just not out there, they are too hard to find", we came to Dick Hannah Kia and talked with Ed Mason, he found exactly what we wanted and for the right price. It only took a couple of hours and we were driving away in our certified pre-owned Jetta TDI. When we bought our last vehicle back in 2003 at another lot, it took 10-1/2 hours before being able to negotiate a deal that was acceptable to both parties. Dick Hannah Kia made the negotiation process so easy and stress free. We have two daughters that we will be buying for with in the next year and not only will we be returning Dick Hannah Kia but we will be dealing with Ed Mason again. He is very friendly and easy to work with and actually listens to your needs and wants and does not try to push you in another direction. I was greeted with a smile and a handshake, and always made to feel like there was no rush, it was a big decision, and to take my time. I was presented with various price points and payment options for the different models I was considering, and when it came time to make a decision, there was absolutely no pressure! A first for ANY car buying experience that I have been through in the past. The particular model I settled on, had just arrived at the dealership earlier the same morning. It was still covered in the protective shipping wrap and needed to go through detail. I was thoroughly impressed with how quickly and efficiently the crew was able to get the vehicle ready to leave the lot. By the time I finished the paperwork, my car was pulled around and ready to go! The sales reps were extremely knowledgeable about the different cars' features and special rebates, and they were more than willing to take as much time as I needed to answer any questions I had. Brian shared that if I had any further questions after I left the dealership, to feel free to call or come in and they would be happy to assist me. My family and I came to Dick Hannah Kia on Friday June 29, 2012 to try and trade in a car that we had purchased the year before for something new and with a better warranty. When we got to the dealership we met Luis Serrano and right away he listened to what we wanted and was very eagar to help us. It turned out that we were able to get a new 2012 Kia Soul. While on the test drive, he showed us different features of the car and was very explanatory. Once we were back at the dealership he worked with the financial department to help us get a good interest rate and monthly payment. Luis was very patient with us especially since we had kept him there till after 9 pm signing papers and getting things settled. From the beginning to the end Luis remained very friendly and had a great sense of humor. I appreciate all that he has done for us. He went over and above to ensure that all our questions were met even about topics such as leasing, which was not even an option for us. I definitely recommend that anyone looking for a car come to Dick Hannah Kia because you will not be harassed or feel pushed into buying something.
