Janet and I live in Portland Oregon but decided to stop by the Vancouver Mall to look at the Kia Soul. I have/had a Dodge Durango for 6years and loved it. She has a Dodge Ram for our camper and boat. But, the way the gas prices kept getting higher, we decided to go for a cost effective car to car pool to and from work. We've seen the TV ads for the Kia Soul and wanted to see if it really was the type car we were hoping for. As we drove in the lot and got out of the Durango, a very nice salesman, Dave, greeted us. I told him we were just "looking" and hadn't planned on buying yet. He was very pleasant and told us he would love to show us the Kia and we could drive it to check it out. Well, he must have known once we drove he had us. :) When we got back to the lot, we checked out different models and decided on a red. Janet is the negotiator, so Dave introduced us to Mike. I sent an email to Dick Hannah as a general inquiry with what I considered to be my minimum set of requirements, my financial status and payment limits and payoff amount. Well, my expectations were wrong. About 20 minutes after I sent the email I got a call from Curt Torson, Salesperson at Dick Hannah Kia. Curt Torson took my financial information and we talked for awhile then hung-up. Curt Torson called me back and said he believed we could make some sort of deal and we made an appointment for 1:15 the following day. I fully expected that Curt Torson was going to ride me around, show me a bunch of cars that I could not afford and in general try to SELL us something. Well, I was WRONG again. That's twice! Curt Torson had listened to me the day before, determined which cars in the vast Dick Hannah inventory met our requirements and our financial situation and was fully prepared to show me those vehicles. Curt Torson was pleasant to work with, he is knowledgeable, and makes every effort to make car buying as painless as possible. Curt showed us a Hyundai Accent, but we did not like it all that much. Curt asked if we would consider a 2008 model with 46000 miles. We said yes, lets look at it even though the requirements stated 2009 or newer. He showed us a 2008 Chrysler Sebring Sedan; we took it for a drive and decided to go with that one. The price was right; the value is in the Vehicle, the financing was much better than was expected. Curt Torson, put the deal together and we were on our way in just under 2 hours. More

Shortly thereafter I received a call stating we were approved and we set a time to come in to look at cars. She told me Dave would be there to meet us. I have to say we were dreading the experience because you know we were meeting with a "car salesman". Dave was awesome. He asked what our price range was for a monthly payment. Then he showed us some cars, we made a decision, perfect for us, and then waited to see what kind of price we could get, what kind of deal they would offer. We expected to spend a few hours haggling over prices. Not the case here. They came back under the monthly price we wanted, gave us more than we expected on our trade in and they lowered the price of the car without all the haggling! What a deal. We signed paperwork which only took a fraction of the time we have spent in the past. We walked away extremely happy with our purchase. We are even considering trading in my husband's car and when we do we will be going back to see Dave. I have never had a better experience in a dealership in all the years I have purchased cars! THANKS Dick Hannah Kia, you have a great employee and as long as he is there we will come back to see you for our future purchases!!! More
BARRY TUTTLE WAS VERY HELPFUL FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END. ALLOWING ME TO TAKE THE CIVIC TO MY BOYFRIEND'S HOUSE AND SHOW HIM WAS VERY HELPFUL, SINCE THE BOYFRIEND WAS THE BUYER OF THE CAR FOR ME. HE WA END. ALLOWING ME TO TAKE THE CIVIC TO MY BOYFRIEND'S HOUSE AND SHOW HIM WAS VERY HELPFUL, SINCE THE BOYFRIEND WAS THE BUYER OF THE CAR FOR ME. HE WASN'T ABLE TO BE WITH ME AT THE BEGINNING, BUT I WANTED HIM TO HAVE A CHANCE TO DRIVE IT FOR HIMSELF. TO FEEL COMFORTABLE ABOUT THE CAR BEFORE MAKING THE FINAL DECISION, AND BUYING IT FROM BARRY. Walked in their Kia lot, not looking for a Kia car (was looking at tons of other cars!) and a few days later I ended up buying a Soul from Jose. We'd heard about Dick Hannah for years of course; you can't live in the Portland area for any length of time without hearing their commercials on the radio. However, none of their on-air advertising motivated us to go see them until we heard rave reviews from one of the local morning shows. Our last purchase was with Wilsonville Honda, and was overall a good experience. Until we went to Dick Hannah Kia, we would have said it was great. Dick Hannah Kia, and Barry in particular, set a new standard for us for a great car buying experience. There was no pressure, no hard sell, no attempt to put us into something we didn't need or want. They listened to us, and were refreshingly honest about the availability of autos, and the process. We went thinking we were going to be buying a Kia Soul +, and that other models (!, Sport) were going to be out of our price range. We ended up driving out the Kia Soul Exclaim, in the color and style that we really wanted, and that was surprisingly affordable. The financing was painless, they were fair with our trade-in, and the payments were better than we hoped for. Most importantly for us, the customer service was great. A laid-back and casual environment, friendly folks everywhere...just fantastic people. Take it from someone who hasn't ever enjoyed the car buying experience. Go see Barry at Dick Hannah Kia. More

From start to finish, Barry Tuttle, our sales rep, was a pleasure to work with. At no time did I feel pressured to buy or like an inconvenience etc. He was extrememly personable, made us feel right at hom pleasure to work with. It was a nice feeling to know that the person I had initiated contact with online was the same person that walked me through the whole purchase process. I have not purchased a car from a dealership since I was 18, so I felt like a novice. He worked with me to help me understand the process and made things simple to understand. No question went unanswered. I would recommend Barry to anyone looking for a car. The other pleasant experience was that everyone else at the dealership were also very polite, helpful, and just plain nice. I had such a good feeling when I left, of course because of purchasing a "new to me" car, but also because Barry made us feel special and taken care of. My experience lacked nothing and I can't say enough about Barry and the care/time he took with us. More
