Dick Hannah Kia was my last stop on a journey that began with a mostly pleasant experience at my local Ford dealership and nearly ended with a visit to a different Dick Hannah dealership which shall not be named in an effort to maintain a sense of civility in light of what I'm about to say next. Simply put, my experience at said dealership (my last stop before Dick Hannah Kia) led me to believe that every cliche and ugly rumor I'd ever heard about car salesmen was true. Thankfully, I was encouraged by a third party to pursue purchasing the vehicle I'd decided upon (a 2013 Kia Soul) from Dick Hannah Kia. The salesman I was directed to, Curt Torson, was straightforward and courteous in his dealings with me. He made me aware of all my options, but did not attempt to push me into making any hasty decisions. He made the experience simple and largely hassle-free. In that light, I feel confident in saying that Dick Hannah Kia is a worthy destination for anyone presently searching for their next vehicle. More

After leaving another car dealership and having a horrible experience, Chucky flipped that around. Not only was Chucky extremely friendly he was determined to find the right match for me. He created a friendly environment with no pressure or gimmicks and with transparency. He was genuinely interested in finding the right car for me and not just getting another car off the lot. I didn't purchase a car the first trip and Chucky was ok with that. He really went the extra mile in keeping different models in mind that fit my price range. I went back a few days later and he had a few ideas and suggestions, but again, there was no pressure and he listened closely to what I wanted and found the perfect fit for me. The day that I came back, Chucky wasn't scheduled to work. He still came in, on his day off to help me out and make sure I got what I wanted. Even working commission, a day off is a valuable commodity and I felt that this spoke volumes about his character and compassion. I felt respected and valued, a feeling not so common when purchasing a car or anything in this day and age. Chucky was extremely trust worthy, not only by finding me the right fit but working on finding something that was a good value. He has gone the extra mile in locating the second key, keeping me updated with information, and by being a friendly hard working person. Having worked in sales, customer service and management, Chucky would have been someone that I would hire in an instant. This is without a doubt the best customer service experience I have had. I also worked with Barry and Mark in the financing department. Even though I had a preapproval, they were still able to find me better rates through the bank I wanted to work with. They worked the payment plan right into my price range and did so without any hassle. The other great experience, was instead of the Chucky running back and forth between the desk and the financing office, they had the financial people come and sit with me and Chucky to see what we could work out. A VERY transparent easy process. Saving time, confusion, and stress. When I did select the car I wanted, Mark was very helpful in explaining the paperwork, warranties and made it all very simple. After seeing some options, we made a couple changes which entailed redoing some of the paperwork. Mark not only was willing and eager, he genuinely made me feel like he was happy to do the extra work for me. Josh was the lot attendant who helped us out too. He was a great young man. He went with me to my home to pick up the trade in car I had. While there, a neighbor asked if he or I could help move a mattress. Josh went above and beyond and we helped the elderly couple by carrying the mattress. He was very professional and courteous. He smiled the whole time and made me feel even more at ease with purchasing from Dick Hannah Kia. The car had only been there for a few days when I purchased it. They had done an inspection, but had not been able to detail it yet. After purchasing the car, we arranged to drop it off the next morning. The following day came and I was there 20 minutes early. The service department saw me waiting and went the extra mile to call me in to get me on my way. When I returned after work to pick the car back up, the service people not only remembered me, but asked me for feedback on how it looked and if there was anything else they could do for me. This alone made me look forward to bringing in my car for servicing there. Every person that has asked me about my new car has not only gotten to hear how perfect it is for me and what a great car it is... but what an incredible experience I had while at Dick Hannah. Chucky especially has created a lifelong Dick Hannah customer. Having lived in the area my entire life and having met Mr. Hannah a few times, I regret not going into Dick Hannah sooner! More
