Job Done :D Due to some bad weather on the east side (Wenatchee), we stayed an unexpected extra day over the Thanksgiving weekend, so went car shopping since we a Due to some bad weather on the east side (Wenatchee), we stayed an unexpected extra day over the Thanksgiving weekend, so went car shopping since we almost exhausted our search over the mountains. Granted I was pretty particular - the tangerine Crosstrek, but Wenatchee was sold out. Even the one coming a week later was already sold. Because of the low inventory we decided to take advantage of the day over in Vancouver. Right as we drove up there was a single tangerine Crosstrek out on display in front of the dealership. I didn't want to give my hopes up so drove some other vehicles, too. I knew I wanted something smaller than a Outback since I've had a small SUV, Nissan Murano, but wasn't so ready to do a small sedan like the Impreza. With most my homework done I was an instant customer. Huyen Hoang was a no pressure salesman and informative enough, however I'd already test drove in Wenatchee and like I said, done my homework. He was kind and intuitive with repacking the new car and assisting with blue-tooth set-up. I took his down-to-earth demeanor as professional respect, but he also shared personal stories which is always nice when buying a costly purchase. It's nice to feel like you have a person on the other side of the deal. When chatting with the gentleman for signing we were saying how this should be at least a fun task rather than an angry "they're-out-to-get-me" scenario. He agreed. It can be an emotional situation due to attachments: money, time, cars....but knowing what I wanted & being realistic all helped. We had a great time visiting. The trade-in was what it was. I didn't have any records on me and my Murano had body damage, so I wasn't surprised or attached to a big exchange. It helped though! It never hurts to take thousands off the price of a new car. Even thought we don't live in the area, but because I do visit often I do get the bennies of stopping in to top of fluids and have the car washed. Ok, maybe some would say not a deal maker, but it's a kind and generous offer considering many dealers don't offer anything anymore. The only drawback to any deal is that it does take time. We paid with a bank counter check since I don't carry checks and it still took time. Not the dealerships fault; there's licensing, insuring and then the paperwork for titling and all. That doesn't include if you finance which is another time suck. Overall, I'm happy to have spent 1/2 a day purchasing my car, leaving the lot with my new car for a gorgeous drive up the gorge and then north to Wenatchee. It handled great, felt like I was productive and it was fun. More

My wife wanted a very particular set of options, so we had to I purchased a 2015 Outback from Dick Hannah Subaru last night and I couldn't be happier. My wife wanted a very particular set of options, so we had to order it. Our salesman, Jeremiah Ostrander, spent hours patiently going through all of the available options/colors and the ordering process with us. When we went to pickup the car yesterday our son, a toddler, had missed his nap and was a holy terror. While Jeremiah went over the vehicle features, showing us how everything worked, our son alternated between running around the showroom screaming (with one of us chasing him) and melting down crying. Everyone was extremely helpful and patient with him. Moh brought him a big orange balloon to help calm him down during a crying spree. Ali, in finance, let him color and played trucks with him while we signed the sales contracts. These guys really take the Dick Hannah slogan "Believe in Nice" seriously. This is our second Subaru from Dick Hannah, and I have a feeling that it won't be our last. More
