When it came time to test-drive the vehicle, the salesman, Ron Mentek, was extremely helpful. He knew the car well, he did not try to "sell" us something we didn't need, and he let my fiancee and I both test-drive the car. That being said, most of the prices were pretty close. This was my first purchase of a car at a dealership, and I have to say, it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I never felt pressured by Huyen or any other staff and they were reasonable with the negotiating process. The car I bought was not on the lot, and Huyen kept me updated until it came in. I also bought the Subaru Gold Plus Warranty for a good price. One reason to consider Dick Hannah is their tires for life program. Do all your factory required service there, and you get free tires when needed($500 per set). In addition, they’ll hand-wash your car every month and give you loaner cars. I would highly recommend Huyen and Dick Hannah Subaru. More
Mizan was very friendly and willing to help us with our car needs. He didn't try and push us into a car that we couldn't afford or didn't want, even if it would mean a bigger pay day for him. Purchasing a new car from a dealership is usually a nightmare experience mostly because of the stealthlike nature one runs through to make a purchase. The friendly dealer knows what he wants at minimum, but also he wants as much more as he can get. That is why most buyers feel devalued when the exchange is finished. By the time the experience is over, you are usually emotionally frayed. This time our purchasing experience was way better than normal-- our thanks to the good folks at Dick Hannah Subaru! After driving the car we wanted at a lot, we chose to shop on line at six nearby dealerships (a great way to regain control of your purchase.) We knew exactly what we wanted and could share that with the on-line salesmen. Even on line though, I found I was still being blitzed with marketing blather in most of the emails. That is until Chris McNamara realized I was ready to buy and sent me a very decent offer (he outmatched other dealers by $300). I appreciated the no-nonsense approach. We were quickly turned over to Dari when we arrived at the dealership for the test drive and our anticipated purchase. Chris went back to sale more cars. We had excellent service from Dari and the service team who answered questions and provided us with good conversation while the car was being cleaned up and we began the paperwork. Thanks for the hot tea Dari! We had a long wait before seeing Sami for the final signing who was insistent but not overbearing on pushing us through all of the wonderful additional expensive offerings Hannah had for us which for the most part we declined. We drove off the lot after thanking Dari for his good work and feeling much more satisfied with this buying experience than ones we have had in the past. The only reason I posted a "good" rating rather than "great" on the ranking for customer service is that it took three hours before we could drive away with the car! This could have been streamlined a little better. Otherwise, they were great. Thanks guys! Now we can head for the mountains with our Hannah gift of free lift tickets. Anyone have any skis? More
