We've been subaru owners since 1987 and the 2011 2.5i Outback Premium is the third new subaru we've purchased from dealerships in the Portland/Vancouver metro area. Our shopping experience in the past always seemed to include a lot of pressure from sales staff, haggling over price, and we never felt very satisfied with the car shopping experience. Our experience with Dick Hanna Subaru was very different from the experiences with other dealerships. The internet pricing worked very smoothly and when we arrived at the dealership to purchase our vehicle, the sales staff and sales manager made sure we got what we came for. The specific vehicle/color we had decided on had been sold the night before but the sales staff located the same vehicle at another dealership, honored the internet price, and had the vehicle delivered the very next day, obviously at additional cost to them. My experience at this dealer was good, because the sales person I dealing seemed real and honest, he didn't seem fake. He wasn't your stereotypical car salesman. The negotiation process was a little stressful, but we were able to work out pricing and payment terms that I was satisfied with. This is my first Subaru and I absolutely love it. It was my first time buying a car, but I did have my mom with me to make sure everything went well (she has experience) and it all went well. The car is great I went home with an impreza outback sport-went in, did a test drive, worked out a deal, and drove home with a brand new car that day! overall it was a great experience, not as bad or stressful as i thought....i recommend this dealer over Portland, even though i am from Portland (this place gave me the best deal) More
I went into Dick Hannah Subaru looking for a used car. When my credit was run the interest rate would have been extremely high. It was suggested that we try a new car. Ron looked so hard to find the right Subaru Forrester for us and at the right price. I am still in awe that I have a beautiful Sabaru as my very own. I hadn't expected to leave the lot with a new car but I did at a price and payment that I can afford. Ron was very friendly and there was no high pressure at all to buy the car. I would recommend Dick Hanna and expecially Ron to anyone looking for a car! More
This was a very easy transaction for me. I saw their ad in the paper, called that morning and purchased the vehicle hours later. The car was ready,and the paperwork was easy. First of all, everyone we dealt with was very friendly. I was a little concerned because we brought our 18 month old boy with us and he is somewhat high energy, but all of the staff were very accomodating. We felt very comfortable and at ease in the showroom. Our sales person was very knowledgeable about the cars and was quick to pick up on what we found important. He was honest about the strengths and weaknesses of the cars and the financing options. Throughout the process, we felt no pressure. The price negotiations were easy, and we came away with a very good price on a very nice new car. More

I went looking for a new Subaru that was reasonable and affordable as well as having all the features that I wanted in my new car. Unique circumstances made this a very unconventional and unusual purchase. Let me start out with the bad first. In the early initial negotiations, Ian and I were working with a gentleman for which early on I can't explain it other than a gut feel that he was trying to screw me so upfront we had a trust issue with a certain sales associate for which I have no problem naming - David Swanson. Giving him the benefit of the doubt this gentleman was everything you would not want in a team player he was forceful, rude, condescending and generally not a very nice individual to work with. I was ready to walk after listening to him for five minutes, and just about did! Fortunately Hannah has an exceptional management service and sales team. Ian Killough interceded and was exceptional in his patience and etiquette. I was at your Vancouver Auto Mall Subaru dealership from 11 until 6 Friday April 1 and Once Ian took control of the discussions he introduced me to his Sales Manager and we got down to business. I cannot say enough good things about either gentlemen, the advice and suggestions made throughout the transaction were truly helpful and at the end of the day I genuinely trust this dealership service and sales and will continue to be a regular service customer who passes on by word of mouth in my office that if folks are looking for vehicles or service get in touch with Ian,Kamal,Tom,Rick,Tonya and Nacho they all have earned my trust and deserve high praise and recognition for their customer can-do attitudes.
