I really enjoyed working with the salespeople and finance persons at Dick Hannah Toyota. We wanted a Chrysler 300 and they found it in their large inventory. I was looking for a used Sequoia, but was having trouble finding something that didn't have a million miles or some other fault. I'd been to a number of dealers in Oregon and Washington as I started out looking at Suburbans, then decided I preferred the way a Toyota holds its value. At every dealership is was high pressure, so I got to a point where the second thing I said was, I don't do pressure well. If you want my business, please don't say, "What will it take to get you to buy this car today?" Nick was the ultimate in low-pressure, but he never made me feel like I was wasting his time. He was helpful,without being pushy. He listened to both me and my boyfriend when we told him what we were looking for in a car -- I liked leather seats, he liked cloth seats, I liked cheap, he liked getting exactly what you wanted since you were paying the bill...He suggested the SR5 which had the cloth seats and the lower pricetag and explained that SR5s were more popular in the resale market and gave you a better return on investment. Because I had previous credit issues, we told them that we had to be on the loan together in order to make the sale. They worked REALLY hard to make that happen AND they gave us $2000 in incentives AFTER bringing the price down to less than the Costco price -- the other dealers were only willing to give us one incentive, not both. Also, because we bought in Kelso, the sales tax was $228 less than if we purchased it in Vancouver! On the way home from picking up the car, my boyfriend asked me if I would be interested in going ring shopping...later, he explained that since he was on a five year loan with me, we might as well make it official. I got a new car, a beautiful ring and a wonderful husband...I am truly blessed. Thanks Nick for helping to make it happen! More
Don Martin was excellent to work with, he let me direcet the pace of my transaction. It was refreshing! He allowed us the space and time to check out the car to our satisfaction. Jim in financing was really nice, personable and patient. He really went out of his way in helping me. Great guy!! The only negative I experienced that I can't get out of mind is that we spent more than $21,000 to your dealership and also drove 7 hours one way to get there and you couldn't even fill the tank up fully with gas for us. I was pleased that I could get an appointment for the day and time I wanted. The lady scheduling the appointment was very friendly and helpful. I appreciated the extra effort taken at Dick Hannah Toyota to note any problems and give estimates for needed repairs. I was especially pleased with the tire inspection and checking the coolant for winter weather. The complimentary vacuuming and car wash were most welcome. Kelly answered my questions and was friendly and kind. The man in the parts department was very helpful. I've taken my older Toyota to Dick Hannah for several years. I have taken my 2004 P T Cruiser in for service 3 times and i have no complants. Kelly is very helpful and keeps his clients informed of all repairs being done to their vehicals. I just move to Washington from San Diego in big cities you go to the dealership that is the maker of your vehicals. More
Wonderful service. We bought both our cars there -- for which they provide free tires for the life of your car! We've been very pleased with the level of service we've been provided. I would highly recommend Dick Hannah Toyota. My wife and I bought a 2009 Venza and have been totally satisfied with every aspect of this dealership. I am very paticular about my vehicles. I brought my 2000 Avalon to the service department due to 2 recalls and an intermittent wiper problem. One of the recalls was taken care of along with the wiper issue but the other recall needs additional pa 2 recalls and an intermittent wiper problem. I dealt with Kelly in the service department. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very personalable. At times as a female, I go into departments such as this and I'm talked down to and the personnel are condesending. This was not the case. When an inspection is done, if the mechanic finds other issues with the vehicle they inform the customer. Kelly did inform me but did not pressue me to have these things taken care of 'here & now'. I also needed a ride to and from the business. They were very accomodating. Though I do not remember the gentleman's name, he was courteous and friendly and at no point did I feel uncomfortable at all. The experiece was satisfying and I do thank Dick Hannah Longview for the obvious training and decisions on the hiring of the personnel I encountered. Word of mouth goes forever and fortunately I have a big mouth so I will let everyone I know of my pleasant experiences there. And not only will I return for my other recall completion but hopefully for that 2011 Avalon I've had my eye on. Now, who can I get to presuade my husband!!! Thanks for everything. Ann Skeie More
My experiance with Dick Hanna Toyota started out good but turned into a very negative experiance. Went to look at two trucks (2010 models) the sales guy said he had in stock for a set price offered to me turned into a very negative experiance. Went to look at two trucks (2010 models) the sales guy said he had in stock for a set price offered to me in e-mails. I drove 2 hours to get to their lot. Got there but they had none in stock for what I was looking for. Showed me instead a 2011. Manager came out and showed me paperwork for 2010 truck while we were sitting in a 2011. They had me very confused. After final price negotiation I decided to buy truck I was shown. I was then notified that the price was for another truck (2010) that I had not seen that was on another dealers lot. WHY did I drive all the way to their lot to see a truck they said they had for a price they had but in reality they did not have. Very deceptive! I sent them an e-mail describing my experiance and feelings and offered to give them one last chance. I got an e-mail back saying that they would PASS on the oportunity. Not even an applogy. Bottom line is if you need to buy a Toyota do not go to Dick Hanna Toyota. More
