I'm extremely satisfied with the customer service and and the work done on my Tiguan. Everything looked good and the service was completed ahead of schedule. My only complaint is the price. $40 for tire rota the work done on my Tiguan. Everything looked good and the service was completed ahead of schedule. I brought my car in for a recall repair. They were polite and helpful. It took awhile to get the part in but they called when it was ready. and helpful. It took awhile to get the part in but they called when it was ready. More
The check in process was fine. We were there for a tire warranty assessment per Pirelli’s request and the man who checked me in (Kevin) made no mention of the warranty stuff even after I brought it up. He warranty assessment per Pirelli’s request and the man who checked me in (Kevin) made no mention of the warranty stuff even after I brought it up. He just wanted to give me pricing. I asked him to look into door edges and attach them if available. I received a link to see the progress of my service but it didn’t work. I checked in at 10am and by noon still had no update. I called and was told my car was just finished—would have been nice if someone had contacted me. When I returned, there was no one there other than the person I had to pay. There was no paperwork about the tire info (warranty or pricing) and no info about the door guards. I was told I could wait 30 mins more until Kevin returned from lunch. I was quite annoyed. I just paid and left and no one has followed up with me about my tires even though the person I paid took down my info. I won’t be coming back to this location for service and will contact Oakland about future service and my tires. Also, I witnessed staff wearing their masks below their noses, which made me really uncomfortable being indoors with them. There was also a man with his face exposed blocking the door. I told Kevin I was uncomfortable exiting the door and walking by this man to go to my car and Kevin didn’t ask the man to put his mask on. Maybe I’m sensitive, but we’re in the middle of a pandemic and I really don’t feel comfortable coming onsite if people aren’t masked. More
Each time that I have taken my car in the staff has always been so helpful, polite, friendly and professional. A big plus is that the bathroom is always clean. always been so helpful, polite, friendly and professional. A big plus is that the bathroom is always clean. More
Prompt and polite. Safety measures in place. Kevin offered me several options for service and even repaired a side view mirror himself in about a minutes time. offered me several options for service and even repaired a side view mirror himself in about a minutes time. More
I have 2010 Volkswagen Eos with a new clutch and rebuilt engine and transmission, (6,000 miles ago). I came in to check on transmission noise and lurching issues, and was given a minimum of explanation engine and transmission, (6,000 miles ago). I came in to check on transmission noise and lurching issues, and was given a minimum of explanation about your recommended $7,800 total replacement estimate. I was brushed off when asked if there were any less expensive options than a new transmission in a 130,000 mile, 10-year-old car worth no more than $7000, AFTER tranny replacement. Basically, for all intents and purposes I was told my car was totaled, and sent on my way. There are rebuilt and used options on transmissions, but I was told Dirito would have nothing to do with that--it was new or nothing. I asked if we could change the fluid to see if that would help, and was told that would be $500 (it has been quoted to me at $225 to $350 at other very reputable shops in Concord and Walnut Creek). I am retired and live on a very limited fixed income. I drive about 5,000 miles a year, if that. I can't see paying $1.50 a mile over the next year for a new transmission that will likely last another 95,000 miles and 20 years beyond my needs--it doesn't make economic sense. I can buy a used, 65K mile old trans with a 6,000 mile warranty for $900, and installation will be another $1,500. I can buy a rebuilt tranny for $2000 with a much longer warranty. To be a resource I find useful to my needs, I need a service partner that will work with me to dramatically lower the cost of this, and I am finding that elsewhere. I am a big fan of Audis and VWs (my last car was an Audi TTS). I didn't plan on keeping the EOS for more than another year, and was then planning on buying a Golf GTI or R. I regret saying that I can't possibly see it coming from Dirito Bros. given the lack of care, service, and flexibility. It has NOT been a good experience. You asked; there you go. More
