It all started with Scott our product specialist and followed with Arnold the business manager and Tom who gave us the run down on all the features of our new RV. It was a streamlined experience that made our purchase and time a pleasurable one. It is still a timely process (as all major purchases are), but they offered us snacks, homemade cookies and even offered to buy us lunch. These may not seem like big things considering our purchase, but every effort and attention to detail to make the experience more pleasant did not go unnoticed. Every employee we came in contact with had a smile and seemed to truly enjoy their job. That's a big deal in the customer service industry! Thankful for Dodd RV of the Peninsula and our experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for no hassle, friendly customer service in the purchase of an RV. We've even had follow up contact from Scott to make sure everything is working properly and if we have any concerns with our purchase. Pretty awesome! More

First RV Purchase Made Easy We had been looking for travel trailers for several months and had decided on a floor plan, weight limit, and desired amenities. We found the trailer We had been looking for travel trailers for several months and had decided on a floor plan, weight limit, and desired amenities. We found the trailer that met our needs at Dodd RV and I dropped in while in the area on business. We live about 3 hours away in the DC area so this was a shot in the dark. I found the model we had decided upon and was able to give it a once over before the salesman, Shane Slavnik, came by and introduced himself. I asked a few questions, asked for any other units that were similar, and told him my expectations. Never at any point did he apply the snake oil salesman pressure. He just provided his contact information and asked us to keep him in mind. The price was right, the knowledge of the unit by the salesman was excellent, and I never once felt pressure. When my wife had concerns about the look of the cushions, he immediately set about correcting that. When we told them that we wanted to finance on our own and register it in my state of record (I'm military), they had no issues. Throughout the pre-delivery inspection and acceptance, we were treated with respect and felt as though no other customer mattered. Shane, our salesman was knowledgeable and accommodating. Mary at the main desk was helpful and accommodating, Arnold in finance and closing did everything in the world he could to make the process as painless as possible. Tom in service walked me patiently through the trailer and explained everything and answered every question I had. Finally, Rod in parts gave me a great run-down on things I actually needed, and not just stuff that they wanted to sell me. The staff is amazing and could not have been more customer service oriented. For new RV buyers: Do your research. These folks were knowledgeable and fair, but you should always be prepared. That said, you could not do better with a with a first-time trailer/RV buy than going here. If you are realistic and knowledgeable, you will be amazed at the service you receive. Overall the only they could have done extra was to give me the trailer for free. Which I'm still open to guys! I just noticed that Rod in parts is not listed below: 5 STARS! More
