Don Hattan was founded in 1949 and is the oldest dealership in Wichita. Don Hattan was a Chevrolet Motor Division Accounting Manager when the opportunity arose to purchase a Chevrolet store. Jim Hattan assumed operational duties in 1979 and led the company through expansion for the next two decades. Jill Hattan became the general manager in 2002 and dealer principal in 2010.

The last few years have been very exciting at Don Hattan Dealerships! We went from one dealership to four in only three years. Our first expansion in 2015, we brought used cars to El Dorado. In 2017, we opened a used car and service facility in Derby. in early 2018, we opened Don Hattan Ford in Augusta. We are surrounding the Wichita area with dealerships to better serve our customers.
Generations of customers have bought their vehicles from our dealerships and we are still the family owned business we have always been. We want the sense of "hometown values" to come through no matter which location you might visit. We hope you see the difference for yourself.

I had my 2018 silverado serviced today also some minor repair work. Nick Brown was my advisor and he keep me informed. He advised it would be an hour and a half. He was right on. I work with Tony(the best IT guy ever) but I'm in the service department. I had a problem with my laptop. It was very slow. It was very jerky. I was not able to get my work done which affected our custom service department. I had a problem with my laptop. It was very slow. It was very jerky. I was not able to get my work done which affected our customers getting their vehicles serviced in a timely manor. We talked several times until he understood my concern. I left him my work laptop to work on. I just dropped in on him. He was very polite. He said he might be able to have it done that day. Before he said it may take a couple days. It took him two hours and it required a new hard drive. It now runs smooth and faster than new. Tony is a great guy. He keeps our computers working in tip top shape. I am lost without my laptop. I'm 0% productive without it. Tony saved my life that day!!!!!! More

As a customer for 60 years I took my older auto to locate and fix a leak. They thought it was taken care of. They missed the source and when returned the service advisor David Simmons as well the manager s and fix a leak. They thought it was taken care of. I worked with Mike Alemanni on a used vehicle and had a great experience! He and the rest of the Don Hattan crew were excellent! They let me test drive the truck overnight so I could show my wife and be su great experience! He and the rest of the Don Hattan crew were excellent!
