Misleading, untruthful Appointment made with Renae, who said she was a salesperson, and would have the used car waiting in front of dealership for me. When I arrived, I foun Appointment made with Renae, who said she was a salesperson, and would have the used car waiting in front of dealership for me. When I arrived, I found out she was the receptionist, and the car was not available. Also When I arrived at dealership, a customer was ranting in lobby about how the Service department “messed up her truck. She said to me, “don’t buy a car here, they are not honest” First impression is that Don McGill is not trustworthy. More

Unprofessional & Deceptive I visited this dealer yesterday (01/07/2019) to test drive a Toyota Prius 5. So I checked out the car and test drove it. Right from the beginning I re I visited this dealer yesterday (01/07/2019) to test drive a Toyota Prius 5. So I checked out the car and test drove it. Right from the beginning I realized that the trim level wasn't correct as it was posted on the internet, but I didn't say anything to the salesman. When we were about to sit down to talk about pricing, I told the salesman that the trim level on the car wasn't correct because it was missing features that a trim level 5 suppose to have. The salesman told me that the dealership must have made an error. So I didn't say anything and followed him to his office. Apparently the salesman did not know much about the confusing trim levels that the Toyota Prius had and he ended offering me a drive out price of over $18000 for a used car that was listed for $13,457. While I was waiting on the salesman to come up with a drive out price, they went ahead and changed the title from "2015 Toyota Prius 5" to "2015 Toyota Prius Hatchback" on their website. After a while when the salesman gave up to convince me to buy the car, he called his manager out to work with me on a new deal. The sales manager who was pretty young, even asked me where I have seen the Prius 5 description. He showed me the "2015 Toyota Prius Hatchback" title description on their internet website, When I saw the title description I figured that they must have changed it and I told them that I must be the stupid one to claim such a thing. Anyway, what these guys don't realize was that Autotrader.com, cargurus.com, cars.com and other auto search engines were still pointing the the original "2015 Toyota Prius 5" description.I have never written a review before and usually I could careless what these guys say, but that manager really made me find a reason to write a review about the practices at Toyota of Katy. I am pretty sure somebody from Toyota of Katy management is reading this review. I would like to let you guys know that some of your customers come to your dealership prepared, we do our homework before talking to you guys...This is the age of information, not all of your customers live behind the moon!!! Educate your managers and salesman!!! You could be sued for misleading your customers!!! I would give this dealership a zero Star rating if it is possible... Quoc Do More
Internet Prices not honored. Sales person Chris Rhodes Did my research and received an online quote on my trade in (from the dealership website) and also received a quote about the truck I was going to pur Did my research and received an online quote on my trade in (from the dealership website) and also received a quote about the truck I was going to purchase (from the dealership Internet salesperson). Drove an hour and half because I thought the process would be quick and easy. The dealership did not honor either price. Asked why they didn’t honor the trade in value and received a bs answer even though I entered my vin number and all statements were accurate. The sales person gave me a price $2,5000 over the Internet advertised price. Then I mention the Internet sales person gave me a lower price when I inquired about it and he said they add rebates on that might not be usuable. But he’s price was higher than the Internet advertising. After 2 hours of haggling I finally left when we were still $2,800 off the price I originally expected. Chris Rhodes was extremely nice but this is really shady. I wouldn’t buy from him for sure More
Bait and Switch Offered to put down a deposit on a 2019 car that we wanted (because we didn’t have the trade in with us that evening), and was told “don’t worry about Offered to put down a deposit on a 2019 car that we wanted (because we didn’t have the trade in with us that evening), and was told “don’t worry about it...we’ll park it in the back and have it washed for you when you get here to sign the paperwork tomorrow.” On the way in to the dealership, called the salesperson to let him know that we were on the way, and was told that they sold the car that morning, despite our appointment to purchase the car and trade in our trade. They then tried to offer a 2018 model for the value of our check. More
Toyota camry XLE 2005 model 1.20L- srv exp (cust no 391792) I had given my Toyota camry XLE 2005 model for servicing at this service center on 11-Aug-18 (customer no : 391792). I took it to service center becau I had given my Toyota camry XLE 2005 model for servicing at this service center on 11-Aug-18 (customer no : 391792). I took it to service center because maintenance req light was glowing and not because my car had any issues. They asked me to do 1.20L service for which i said OK. I was charged 664$ for the service and they gave a list of issues with car. I declined all the repairs suggested by them. Within 2 weeks of taking my vehicle out of major service, car started making noise while accelerating. So i corrected my left side CV axle which was mentioned in their report. Even after that sound was there. So i showed it again to a car service center. They told me its a problem with right side CV axle. The main reason for doing such a major service was to correct maintenance req light. But the reports didn't show any issues with right CV axle and ever since servicing was done it has started showing issues. I am surprised why it was not cought in major servicing like this. Doing a major service like this and after spending more than 600$ on service i fail to understand why this was not caught in this servicing. More

Finance Dept is full of unscrupulous cons Sales wasnt bad, I needed a vehicle after Harvey so I didnt push too hard. The finance department is beyond worthless. Multiple calls and voicemail Sales wasnt bad, I needed a vehicle after Harvey so I didnt push too hard. The finance department is beyond worthless. Multiple calls and voicemails to Michael, the GM, went unanswered, and I had to threaten legal action to change things Billy Knight tried to screw me over on (a $5k extended warranty to 75k miles when I was told $2300 for a $125k warranty at the Kirkwood sister store), they absolutely refused to remove APEX tracking off my truck, refused to help with anything really when asked, and tried to add needless garbage on top of everything. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING with these people. Nothing but dishonest scam artists. After the first two service appointments I'll also never go back again; my wheels were scratched and all 4 skid plate bolts are stripped and/or cross-threaded. This place is a joke and I wish I'd never stepped foot on their lot. More
