We were greeted by Greg Miller. He found a few SUV's that we were interested in, but they were a little higher priced then we wanted to go. We scheduled to meet him the next morning and test drive a Grand Cherokee. But when we got there, he had found one he overlooked that was in the price range we wanted. Although it didn't have all the bells & whistles I wanted, it was what my wife wanted. They helped us complete the financing through our credit union and now we are very happy with our new vehicle. So much less pressure then the LHM dealership. More

I had so much fun exploring new vehicles with Tami Baum, like shopping with a good friend. She answered every questions I had and I never felt pressured into buying anything. Also, Andy Dobman at Jeep was so helpful in showing me all of the features in my new Jeep Cherokee. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Doug Smith. I have to drive 4 hours from where I live and will continue to return due to the excellent customer service and atmosphere. I would recommend Doug Smith Autoplex to everyone I know. He was never pushy about trying to get me in a different car or color or enough the extra additives. By far the best car buying experience! I will not go any where else for future purchase and I highly recommend Doug Smith Kia and Darin!!!!!!! I say he gives 5 all around for purchase, service, and price!!! More
Horrible Customer Service I convinced my wife that the only place to go to get her head lights replaced was the dealer. So we left our home in Payson and made our way out to AF I convinced my wife that the only place to go to get her head lights replaced was the dealer. So we left our home in Payson and made our way out to AF to get the work done and the oil changed. When we arrived we were immediately sent to the dodge dealership because they didn't have time to do the work on my wife's car. Turns out dodge didn't either. We had a coupon for an oil change for 25.95 that wasn't honored. So we had to pay 35 for the oil change and still no headlights. I have purchased several cars from this dealership and my wife's will be our last. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone but my worst enemy! More
Best Car Buying Experience EVER I came to replace a vehicle that was declared a total loss in an accident about 2 weeks ago. I was interested in a Jeep Liberty, and took a good 45 mi I came to replace a vehicle that was declared a total loss in an accident about 2 weeks ago. I was interested in a Jeep Liberty, and took a good 45 minute drive out to Doug Smith. And I am so glad I did. It has a great atmosphere, very low pressure. Took the vehicle for a test drive, and decided to purchase the it. Our Salesman, Justin Angell, was so great. He talked to my father and I, and was very friendly and helpful. Jess in finances was also really great. I have never had a better experience at any other dealership. Their vehicles come with a 3-month warranty (even on an '04 Jeep Liberty!) Which really shows their dedication to customer satisfaction. They also provide 4 free oil changes and tire rotation, without scheduling. Not to mention, that includes a free automatic car wash! I was really blown away by how great of a dealership this really is. The vehicle was even detailed a second time while I waited, before I took it home. I had never even been to American Fork before, and will definitely come back. And recommend Doug Smith to everyone I know. More
The Service manager should be fired! The service tech manager should be fired! I want my life back! This is the 12th time I rescued my Wife as her 2013 Challenger is broken down BECAUSE The service tech manager should be fired! I want my life back! This is the 12th time I rescued my Wife as her 2013 Challenger is broken down BECAUSE she went to Doug Smith Autoplex where we bought the car and warranty. The sheer incompetence is mind blowing. This time, it was because the replaced the recalled alternator, and now the car is overheating. We had 6 visits for the car not starting, we paid $200 for a new keyfob, only to find the problem continuing. After 3 months of arguing, we called the warranty and there is a known defect recalled and approved for an ignition switch that the Tech Manager should have known about. Instead, they replaced a working keyfob and we STILL cant get them to replace the ignition switch. The xxxx car still starts spartically and strands my family somewhere at least once a week. 2 months ago, my wife curb checked her rear tire and bent the rim. We paid $600 for the new rim, and since it had to be purchased through the dealer to match the other 3, we chose to have them put it on. Well, they "threw away" the bent rim and cant locate it because the shop we originally took it to that discovered the bent rim said Doug Smith rotated the tires, and threw away a good one because the bent one on my Wifes car is THE SAME BENT RIM we replaced. We took it to the same place because the tire was leaking air BOTH TIMES. If they think my Wife curb checked 2 rims, why cant they produce the one they "threw away"??? Finally, I had to threaten a law suit for them to replace the cat converter that kept altering power. I stood over the Tech Manager and made him run the diagnostic, wrote down the codes and proved what it was. The warranty company said the Tech Manager should have done it the first time the code came up. Instead we brought in the car 4 times with a check engine light, and they reset the engine light, did no work, and we would be 5 miles away when the light came back on. I have never seen such incompetence and I have finally given up. I'm taking my car to Larry H Miller to repair, and I will sue the Doug Smith Autoplex for damages. The warranty company will not pay for the Tech Managers stupidity, only submitted claims, (which he failed to do on a total of 12 visits misdiagnosing issues). Ridiculous. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!! I wouldnt wish this xxxx on anyone. More

Wasted our time We drove up to the dealership after talking to the salesman at length about a used vehicle. He told us that there were some "minor" scratches on it & We drove up to the dealership after talking to the salesman at length about a used vehicle. He told us that there were some "minor" scratches on it & that otherwise, it was a great car. So, we took him at his word & made the 30 minute drive. He stressed that it had been completely checked out by their techs and was in great mechanical condition, had passed the safety & emissions, etc. Well....the trunk of the car had about a half a dozen scratches that were about 1/2" WIDE by a foot long! There was a lot of abrasion on the trunk where paint was worn away. There was a rusted dent in the hood as well. But the experience got worse. I started the car & it had run for about 10 minutes before we even attempted to drive it and it would not get warm inside the cab even after driving for a few minutes. So we turned around and brought it back. We lifted the hood and the explanation was easy to see --- there was not a DROP of coolant in the reservoir. None. So they put some in but we walked. It left huge doubt in our minds about how well this car had been checked out by their techs. Making sure the car has the necessary fluids is so BASIC! Who knows how long the car had been running on no coolant & what damage might have occurred? It is not a dealership we would return to. More
