I have been taking my Crosstrek to Doug Smith Subaru service center since i purchased my car 2 years ago. I drive from Draper to American Fork because of the excellent service they provide. Well, I have an 06 Tribeca that I have had since 07 and the service did the head gasket at 155000. I'm at 227000 and the gaskets failed again. Should never have happened, dealership didn't see fit to do it the service did the head gasket at 155000. I'm at 227000 and the gaskets failed again. Should never have happened, dealership didn't see fit to do it properly. That being said, I've spent over 5k at the service department between my car and my daughter's. Stay away from this service department, incompetent. Now the worst part, I went to see about purchasing a new Subaru from them. I wanted to see if they might take my old Tribeca for a trade allowance. The salesman looked at my Subaru and said, and I quote, "we don't have a cash for clunkers program". My Subaru has 227k. I've owned Subarus since 1985 and Subaru used to be hailed for it's longevity. My Tribeca is not beat, pearl white and LOADED. A Subaru dealer states their older line is a bunch clunkers. Done with Doug Smith. I tried and tried for years, they FAILED. Do yourself a favor and go to Nate Wade or Mark Miller for your Subaru needs. More

Of the 3 dealerships I visited while buying a car they stood out as by far the most laid-back and least stereotypical in terms of salesmen. In our area at the moment there are several billboards advertising "no pressure" sales. Dough Smith is not one of them, but I found them to be most exemplary of that advertisement. Mike Brown was fantastic. He gave me whatever time I needed to test other vehicles, helped me order the exact car I wanted, and was responsive and efficient in addressing the small hiccups along the way. Even with the few issues that occurred during this process it was incredibly easy and relaxed buying a vehicle from Mike and Doug Smith in general. I came on the recommendation of friends who'd had the same experience and would like to throw my name onto this ever-growing pile of incredibly pleased customers. More
