However, after talking with Dean Lesser and learning of the great deals on a fuel efficient car that I needed for my job we decided to buy. He made the process as painless as possible, and even ordered me the exact color car I wanted from another dealer to be delivered on a Holiday weekend! I would say overall it was a good experience. The car did come from the other dealer with a couple scratches, however Douglass Jeep was right on top of having their service people set up a date to repair them. And I love my new Avenger!! More

He answered several of our questions prior to our purchase via email and telephone, always in a timely manner. There were a few rebates that we inquired about that we thought we might qualify for. Other dealers we contacted were quick to indicate that we likely qualified. Instead of luring us to the lot, Mr. Hoffman declined to answer until he researched the rules and ensured that we had accurate information before driving all the way to Venice from Bradenton. It turned out we did not qualify - information we appreciated knowing ahead of time. When we did visit the dealership, he was pleasant to deal with and far from overbearing. Ultimately we were offered a generous amount for our trade-in, and Art helped us get the car we wanted at a competitive purchase price without going twelve rounds in the ring. We'll be back to Douglas in a few years for our next vehicle. More
