I just helped a friend get her new (cpo) Jeep at Douglas and we got a great deal, on a like new vehicle! Our salesperson, Michele Hanrahan did a great job showing the vehicle and explained all the features and we got a great deal, on a like new vehicle! Our salesperson, Michele Hanrahan did a great job showing the vehicle and explained all the features and benefits, and the manager went out of his way to make the deal on the Jeep , with the trade in we had, we were happy with the numbers. The Finance dept was a bit slow, the man was training , but we were able to get through. Overall, we are very happy, just wish the process went a bit faster. Thank you. More

Unfortunately I had a bad experience when my 2017 Ram Unfortunately I had a bad experience when my 2017 Ram 1500 Eco Diesel with 29,106 miles was serviced. The truck was brought into Douglas Dodge due Unfortunately I had a bad experience when my 2017 Ram 1500 Eco Diesel with 29,106 miles was serviced. The truck was brought into Douglas Dodge due to a check engine light and to find where a water leak in the cab was coming from. Douglas Dodge determined that the check engine light was caused by a bad turbo and the cab leak was from the satellite antenna. They replaced the satellite antenna, inspected the third brake light seals and replaced the turbo. The truck was at Douglas Dodge for and extended period of time and no one bothered to check to see if the cab was still leaking after the satellite antenna was replaced. When we picked up the truck the towels that we had left behind the rear seats to catch the water was still there and soaking wet. The service manager made light of it, did not seem concerned and actually let us leave with the truck without establishing a plan of action to find and fix the leak. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning. Checking under the hood, we discovered numerous, at least 30 plus, things that were not attached or reassembled correctly. There were missing retainers and parts (push pins, screws, clips and the battery heat shield) and an electrical connection for and exterior light was not connected and was left dangling. I was appalled, disgusted and sickened by the incompetence and poor workmanship on how this vehicle was serviced and returned to me. Seemed like there was no oversight or post repair inspection by a technician or service manager. A vehicle in for an extensive repair should never leave a service repair facility and be returned to its owner with so many issues, which leaves me concerned about the longevity of the turbo repair/replacement. And, no, I will never bring my truck back to Douglas Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram! More
I just bought my car with Paul Kavlich and he was wonderful! I did not feel he pushed me into something I don't want. My initial contact from Douglas Jeep... was thru a Car Guru ad. The internet sales person who contacted me, Sonia, was very sweet, but I felt like she was the typical promise you anything to get you in he Guru ad. I expressed concerns about the high dealer fee and she put me on hold, said she spoke to "the manager" about it, and said he said not to worry, we could work around it. Of course, that was before they found they'd have to put money into the car. When I actually got the sales figures from them, and called about the HIGH dealer fee compounded with the extra paper filling out fee on top of that, (the 2 totaling over 1100.00), I was told there was nothing that could be done about it. There was no negotiating on the price of my trade either. They had so many calls for the vehicle I wanted, that my answer from them was "we have other buyers willing to pay the price". ( I happened to be the very first caller on this car)I felt like it was a take it or leave it situation). All of this has nothing to do with the actual salesperson, Paul Kavlich, whom I met when I actually went to the dealership. He was very kind, upfront and helpful. I understand that NONE of this was his fault, and he was just the "lucky" person who got to deal with my rath. I feel like, if I had dealt with him from the onset, I'd have gotten the truth-not smoke blown up my xxx. I'll admit, the car was one of a kind, so THAT and Paul are the only reasons I didn't walk away from it. Don't get me wrong, everyone I saw at the dealership was very nice, but I still feel like, had they not had to put unexpected money into the car I was purchasing or had countless other buyers for this vehicle, I'd have gotten a better deal or the chance to feel like I at least had a chance to negotiate. All this aside, business is business, and I'd still buy another vehicle from them-just not thru the internet. More
Horrible sales team! They made a deal with us and we made arrangements to come in the next morning with the deposit and all of a sudden the price went up $1500. I have Bought multiple vehicles from this dealership. Their sales staff have always gone above and beyond to make a fair deal happen. However I have never used their service department because I live 30 minutes away. Recently our 2015 jeep renegade, after only 28,000 miles had the AC compressor completely fail. We were out of warranty and the part alone was over $1000. Zevon, in parts, was amazingly helpful as well. We knew the repair was going to be close to $2000. When we showed up to pick up our vehicle the bill was only $321. Without even mentioning it to us John at Douglas had contacted the Chrysler corporation and fought on our behalf for them to cover this costly repair. That is how business should be done!
