I normally hate dealerships! My wife and I were on I-75 traveling south at 75 miles per hour when the water pump on our 2014 ram 3500 sheared off. This dropped the serpentine belt My wife and I were on I-75 traveling south at 75 miles per hour when the water pump on our 2014 ram 3500 sheared off. This dropped the serpentine belt, and instantly eliminated our brakes and power steering. We managed to make it into a gas station to survey the damage. At this point, I'm thinking oh no, It's Saturday at 2 in the afternoon. To this date I have never had a positive experience at dealership; over charged, bad work, broken parts, etc. My wife started calling local dealerships. The first two did not even know their own locations in relation to where we where broken down. Additionally, they informed us, that perhaps they could get the truck fixed by mon or tues. Our last shot was Douglas Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram. The service writer we spoke to said; no promises, but that he would try to get us fixed. We decided to tow the truck to Douglas. We didn't arrive until 3;15 in the rain. With no power steering and an 8000lb truck, they could not even get the vehicle into the bay. The tech said; no problem and went at it in the rain outside. To my utter amazement, they got the pump replaced, fluid refilled, codes cleared and everything checked by 5;00pm. All under warranty. This was by far my best experience, at any service facility, ever! Douglas Ram saved my weekend. They turned a possible 4 day nightmare into a mere 2 hour inconvenience. If I were int market for a new car and they were not the best price, I would still buy it from them because of this service. They were awesome, don't hesitate to use this dealership. More
