The best car leasing experience yet (with one exception) With one exception I would highly recommend Douglas Chrysler Jeep in Venice FL, especially the salesman, Sean Piscorik. After visiting several other dealerships in the Sarasota area, we were really frustrated with the "typical" scenario where the salesman starts at a high price and has to go back and forth to his manager for approval. After over an hour of doing this and getting nowhere, you know what comes next...the manager comes over and says "what can I do to earn your business?" Duh, reduce the price and don't make me wait so long. He, or she, tells you this is the lowest price I'll get and as I start to leave, agrees to lower the price (somewhat), I should also note this manager didn't even know if I was buying or leasing. That experience was exactly why buyers and lessees hate the "games" that go on. Then we went to Douglas and everything changed. After providing Sean the info of what we were looking for, he took us to see a vehicle that matched. Then we sat down and he gave me his best price, which was still to high for our budget (we are retired and on a budget). I told him what target price I was looking for and Sean said that he would have to speak to his manager for such a price. We sat there and expected to see "the manager" who would try to get us to buy at a higher price. In this case Sean returned and said that he was happy to tell us the manager said yes. The whole process took less then a half hour. I know what you are thinking...he paid too much for the deal, but trust me that is not the case. I did my research. What's the one exception? Only when we reviewed the lease agreement was it revealed that they added "junk fees" such as disposition fees and acquisition fees, which my previous dealer Darby Buick GMC, did not charge, therefore I was not expecting. I was a micro-second away from cancelling the deal in the finance office, but decided to go for the deal because my wife liked the Pacifica model. (I would normally have walked out due to the fact these charges are not cheap by any means) Other then the exception noted above, our experience was still very good (with one exception) PS: If you are thinking of doing business with Douglas, asked for Sean. I traveled from Tampa Florida to purchase my Jeep Wrangler from Douglas Jeep and after a horrible experience for service and warranty work at a Tampa I traveled from Tampa Florida to purchase my Jeep Wrangler from Douglas Jeep and after a horrible experience for service and warranty work at a Tampa Jeep dealer, I traveled an hour and a half back to Venice for my service and warranty work. Tim Racco was our service advisor and to say that he was helpful, professional and knowledgeable is an absolute understatement. Unlike our Tampa experience, Tim and the guys at Douglas Jeep have put the faith of a true business and professionalism back into me. Tim was not only helpful but he went above and beyond to make our experience a pleasant one. I highly recommend not only the sales department but the service department at Douglas Jeep to anyone looking to be taken care of as well as your vehicle. Above and beyond service! I had my 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser GT towed into Douglas Douglas when it started to over heat on I-75 I had no other choice but to drive it from Apoll I had my 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser GT towed into Douglas Douglas when it started to over heat on I-75 I had no other choice but to drive it from Apollo Beach to North Port FL. with many pit stops in between to let it cool and add more antifreeze. I was not familiar with any mechanic shop in Florida due to me being new to Florida. I called and spoke to Don Glen the Service Manager and he was very kind and helpful. I then called AAA and had my car towed to Douglas Dodge where the problem was identified and my car was repaired. I had numerous problems since that time and Don Glen has been my advocate with the people that serviced my extended warranty where as the people at the dealership where I purchased my car would not help me out. I drove 130 miles each way to have my car serviced at Douglas Dodge. I have since moved to Venice Florida and haven"t had any trouble with my car until lately and I again took it in and talked to Mr. Glen and he checked my car gave me an estimate and told me to come back when I am ready to have the repairs done. More

TIM RACCO is amazing also Check engine light was on. Tim came out ran the dialogists test then showed me how to fix the EPA problem. NO CHARGE!
