I would definitely not recommend this dealer. I was one of the unfortunate people to purchase the 05 Maxima. I have always taken my car to them for repairs which NEVER seem to end. In Jan I was told that I of the unfortunate people to purchase the 05 Maxima. I have always taken my car to them for repairs which NEVER seem to end. In Jan I was told that I needed 1,600 worth of work. I paid for it and 2 months later was back with the same issues but was told that something else was wrong this time. I was quoted over 1,200. When I asked for them to either repair the correct issue or give me a refund they refused. To make matters worse, they never called me in regards to a customer service survey that I filled out (they sent it) that expressed my dissatisfaction. To add insult to injury, the service manager sent a memo to Nissan Corp stating that I was not a good customer and that he did NOT recommend that Nissan Corp assist me with the costly repairs that we as customers are all becoming aware of, simply because I did not let them do my oil changes or service in 2010. But I am confused because Jan 2010 I had an oil change there and was there for at least 2 times paying to either get my engine flushed or a new part. I have lost count. Despite the fact that they were ALWAYS getting paid for their services the service manager sent a memo that discouraged Nissan Corp from aiding much needed assistance for something that seems to be wrong with an awful lot of these cars. Oh, and the mechanic shop that I just took my car too said that there was nothing wrong with the part that DN said needing replacing what he found was much cheaper. I wish if they couldn't fix my car they would have told me sooner before I gave them all of my money More
This experience started out ok with aaron showing us some cars. We stopped here only because we were in Nashville already. We should have just went to Newton Nissan where we previously purchased a car. While cars. We stopped here only because we were in Nashville already. We should have just went to Newton Nissan where we previously purchased a car. While we were consulting about the car we picked out Newton Nissan called me and asked what price they were giving us. He said they could do better. So we told them we appreciated their time but we would be leaving. When some other genlteman that i do not know his name came out and basically told me that i was an idiot if i really beleived they would sell me the car the other delaership was promising and they were making their job easier because i would return to their delaership. WELL Newtown DID actually sell us the car for the promised price and a free maintneince package. And i hope this dealership realises that i would not have returned their after the way they spoke to my husband and i even if Newton couldnt have done the lower price. Dont waste your time here, go to Newton Nissan of Gallatin and see Jerry and then Rob will hook you up in the finance dept. More
I bought a Maxima awhile back at the MetroCenter location. First, all Maximas with the 'technology package' had the factory price sticker removed and they would not explain why. The Sales Manager in location. First, all Maximas with the 'technology package' had the factory price sticker removed and they would not explain why. The Sales Manager insisted I sign a piece of paper to indicate I was negotiating in good faith and intended to buy that day (?). When he came back with his price, it was written on a scrap of paper with no break-down of what-cost-what or what was included. The guy who they send you to for document signing tried to force me to agree to a service package (expensive rip-off). I had to say no five times and start to get up to leave before he would take 'no' for an answer. I should have walked, but bought the car. A week or so later I got loan payment info from CapitolOne. I had asked for Nissan financing, and the stuff I signed said Downtown Nashville Nissan on it. They sold my loan to CapitolOne for a kickback. Also, three times during the sale salespeople told us 'If you get a survey from Nissan don't say anything bad. If you have a problem come to us.' Well they got one bad survey I know of, and probably a lot more. As far as I know, all the people I dealt with are now gone, but behavior like that comes down from the top. Ultimately, I probably got a fair price on the car, but I could have saved on the financing. The Maxima has been great. I have used the Service Department for regular maintenance and extras like window visors, and have had no problems, except I always feel the need to tell them that I would never buy a car there again. Where to start? I bought a 2004 350z used. Good price, but sales manager lied (i found out afterwards) about me geting the top or Gold, extended warranty. Guess I should have sat there for an hour compari but sales manager lied (i found out afterwards) about me geting the top or Gold, extended warranty. Guess I should have sat there for an hour comparing apples and oranges, or doubting the sales and finance manager, but many of these dealers employ time worn psychological tricks of the trade just to ink the deal. Had numerous problems keeping the hatchback open during the cold months. They lifted the hatchback once, in the shop and told me they did it repeatedly (when in for service), during the day. Lo and behold, the hatchback rarely if ever stayed open unless it's 70+ degrees outside. Oh, and I paid 2k for the mid-priced extended warranty, which counters what they told me during purchase, that all parts are covered bumper to bumper. Found this out when the CD's constantly skip (not the laser), when the temp is below 70 degrees. Also had numerous squeaks around the dash and seat, but that was never fixed, and of course, not under the mid-priced extended warranty. Another scam relates to something someone mentioned here about receiving x amount guaranteed for a trade, during one of their scam-motion campaigns. Otherwise, I filed a BBB report last year and they never responded probably since they're old hands at getting numerous complaints. I could write a book. Add to this, my 350z only had 23k miles on it when purchased. Kind of odd that hatchbacks don't stay open, CDs skip when cold, and numerous inside rattles and squeaks............... More

My 2005 Altima has developed problems that I see on internet chatrooms are typical of this model after 3 years. Last winter, the heater began blowing only cold air when the car is stopped, but hot air internet chatrooms are typical of this model after 3 years. Last winter, the heater began blowing only cold air when the car is stopped, but hot air when the car is moving. The transmission has gotten rough and it idles rough. When I took the car in, they were nice enough. They called me to say they were going to change the oil (and charge me for it) to fix the rough idling. I can't imagine how that is related! I told them it had just been changed and I wouldn't pay for it. When my husband picked it up, they said it idled and shifted "just like all the other Altima's." They also said the heater problem was the thermostat and they had replaced it, which didn't make any sense because the air was hot when the car was moving. They were condescending on the phone and refused to consider that there was anything else wrong with the car. I will not go back there, even though I bought the car there before it changed hands. Hippodrome was a quality dealership; Downtown is all hype and aggressive salesmanship with terrible service and attitude! More
