I did not appreciate the call from the Sales dept who must have gotten my number from my service appointment about selling my Toyota. It’s miss leading to get a call from Toyota while your car is in service to be asked to sell/ buy back your car. Service department still a 5. More

It started great - the Edmunds app told me this dealership had just the car I wanted (minus the color, but close enough) and when I contacted them, they said they would honor Edmunds' "recommended dealership had just the car I wanted (minus the color, but close enough) and when I contacted them, they said they would honor Edmunds' "recommended price" which seemed a really good deal; when I got there however, I met with a different salesperson ("Junior") who, after the test drive, acknowledged he had "no knowledge of any prior agreement" about pricing; that worried me quite a bit but actually, we quickly agreed on a price very close to the original quote - only with a Lojack "premium" I didn't care for but that's ok, still a good price. All ended well, then... except for this one incident that really left a bitter taste in my mouth: because, on the day of purchase, I had first to return my rental car (I'd been left car-less since my old car had broken down), I picked up the new car in front of the dealership after hours with a key that "Junior" had given me while assuring me that the other one - new cars normally come with two - would be mailed to me; that never happened, though, and what's really annoying is that any subsequent attempt to contact the dealership failed - they literally "ghosted" me once the sale was done. So I'm still short of one key out of two, and wondering why they spoilt what could have been a great purchase experience just because they couldn't be bothered to mail the extra key _or_ answer/return my phone calls...
