Inside looks dated. I didn’t appreciate the negotiation tactics. I was there for over 3 hours and wasn’t offered a refreshment. Also, the after sales support was great. I had a question about something I thought was wrong with the vehicle and Junior responded quickly and was able to resolve my problem. More

I was not clearly communicated to in any way. This location also was lacking in many services that others had. They did not currently have the curtesy shuttle, fine, but they also would not offer This location also was lacking in many services that others had. Other locations have even covered the cost of my rental vehicle while my car was in the shop. I went in for a minor issue and then they discovered an issue resulting from my check engine light and told me it would be a week without my vehicle. After a week I had to call the location to inquire about the timeline and after another 2 days I was told my vehicle was finally ready. I was not given an accurate estimate of the cost of parts and labor because when I came to pick up my vehicle the price had jumped $750 from what was estimated when I dropped off my car. It was very unclear to me why the price jumped because I was told the resulting work was covered under warranty. The Rep kept giving me the run around as I asked for what specifically I was being charged for and ended up saying the original quote didn't include taxes and fees. I will absolutely never return to Downtown Toyota of Oakland and I wish they would stop sending me mail, messages and the like because I hate their xxxx poor service. More
