They basically thought I was imagining the problem I was describing. Of course, the next day, as I'm driving down 580, it happened again - but this time I am left stranded on the highway. DO NOT go there, a bunch of SCAMMERS and big time LIARS, robbers...you name it til you experience it. Here is why: I went to purchase a car, initial price was 26K with 7k down. My good credit score gav robbers...you name it til you experience it. Here is why: I went to purchase a car, initial price was 26K with 7k down. My good credit score gave me an interest rate of 4.49% with monthly payment of over $800 a month. I said I did not want to pay more than $500/month. The seller goes to his manager and asks me if I could put more down. I say that I can come down with extra 13K. He comes back with new numbers: Car now is valued 36K, same interest rate and monthly payments of $511 ( over a 7yr loan). I ask why the car is now 36K ? Salesman takes me to car and tells me that it comes with options such as special paint, faux leather seat, etc that jump the price. Desperate, I agree. HUGE MISTAKE.... Ask to get the FINAL invoice before you SIGN any papers. Here is why: The cash price of motor vehicle and accessories was $ 43.022. ( 38k+ 4995k), then they added bunch of of things that were supposed to be included in the price : LoJack-footprint-cilajet-invisishield...( total: $5284) and of course things like: Portfolio SVCS, Toyota/safe guard: $5284... SO, the cash price of the vehicle went from $36k to a total CASH PRICE of $60,579,73. OH and the salesman also told me that Toyota was paying for the registration fees.... THEY DO NOT... grand total : $ 61,217.48 Well another BIG LIE : the interest rate: 9.14% YES... doubled up. So at the end 61,217.48 minus my 20k ( down payment), my loan is based on 41,217.48 with an interest rate of 9.14%, the FINANCE CHARGE comes to $14.946.60 over the term of the loan. the amount I will have paid after I made all my payments: $69,164.08 TOTAL SALE PRICE: cost of purchase on credit, including my down payment of $20,000...$76.164.08. So BEWARE OF THESE PEOPLE... THEY DO NOT HAVE YOUR BEST INTEREST AT HEART. More
