Took my Subaru Outback because of the steering wheel shaking on the road. I knew that one of the axels needed to fixed. I picked it up after they 'fixed it' but my car was still shaking. It cost me near shaking on the road. I knew that one of the axels needed to fixed. I picked it up after they 'fixed it' but my car was still shaking. It cost me nearly $1500 the first time around, but I still had to come back since they didn't fix it initially. They didn't offer any discounts or any small amount of refund at all. Turns out to be control arm bushing being worn out. Replaced both of them and it cost me $1k. These parts costs $125 each and It's a 30 minute job and there's even youtube videos that teaches you how to do it. I'll go to a local mechanic next time, seems like they know more about my car than this actual dealership. Edit: They have reached out to me regarding my experience and offered me a store credit to make up for my initial negative customer experience. I'll give them a second chance, since they've made a great effort on making things right. More

I went to Subaru of Oakland because I was having issues with my car and my original dealership (Livermore) had horrible customer service. Oakland got me an appointment within 2 days, got me into a loaner ( with my car and my original dealership (Livermore) had horrible customer service. They were friendly, prompt, professional and fast. I just wish I had bought my car from them. More
