This review is about Amanda as well as the team. Let me start by saying Lidia made this a 5 star ending. She was phenomenal in helping me understand the DMV process and what needed to be done to remedy the issue I was having. 3 stars overall due to my ex She was phenomenal in helping me understand the DMV process and what needed to be done to remedy the issue I was having. 3 stars overall due to my experience prior to her assistance. Hard to get any of the 6 individuals during the buying/contract process to respond to me for help. Driveway requires a VIN verification document to be notarized before shipping the vehicle. Illogical as the notary needs to physically inspect the vehicle before signing that document. Creating a “run in circles” process. Hopeful to get my registration soon as it’s been 35 days since I’ve had the vehicle without the registration or plate. More
It was definitely a process. I worked with a gentleman named Nas who made sure I was happy.! I was not initially super happy with the car I received, and he really advocated for I worked with a gentleman named Nas who made sure I was happy.! I was not initially super happy with the car I received, and he really advocated for me to make sure that the transaction was fair along with his supervisor Parker. Although it was not their fault when I first received the vehicle within driving 1 mile, my tires blew out because they were dry rotted and the initial customer support representative. I spoke with from Driveway named Cheryl essentially told me I was on my own that wasn’t their issue and I had to pay for a tow because the car did not come with a key to get the lug nut off, then I had to pay for someone to break the lug nut and come to me to replace the tire. So it was a really bad experience at first and Nas and Parker really saved the day and making sure that I was treated right and things were taken care of. If you decide to go with this company, I would absolutely ask to work with Nas. I definitely felt like he was dialectical and understood. How upset I was I had not even driven this car one mile before I had a tire blow out and then to be told no one was gonna help me from the company by The original customer service rep, Cheryl at driveway. I’m glad I had the money to pay for a tow because it was late at night and I was stranded in the middle of nowhere but not close enough to my house to go home and then because it was so late I couldn’t tow my car to a tire shop And had to pay a extra fee to have someone come to me to replace the tire so I didn’t pay a second tow fee. I was furious and when I called the customer service line back and reached to Nas. He really worked to make sure that the situation was rectified and a couple other issues I had. I’m glad I made this purchase and he worked to smooth things out really nice. Update I had the customer service Representative reach out and really worked out a couple other kinks with me after I posted my review and I’m super happy with how we landed at the end of all the paperwork and with my vehicle. It was a pleasure. I understand things can go wrong and they really made efforts to fix everything they could and I’m glad that I gave them the opportunity to do so my review has went from a 3.5 to a five star review because of this. More
