The valet who came to pick up my car was quick and easy to work with. I was very happy with their buying price for my car. It was significantly higher than Carmax and Carvana. They mail paperwork to be signed such as release of liability and bill of sale and a notary document you need to sign in front of a notary. I preferred to be emailed the paperwork to print and physically sign to expedite the process but it’s priority overnight air shipping by UPS so it’ll take about 24-48 hours for you to receive and sign and then ship out for them to get. They’re quick with responding to emails and if you call. I believe they contract with other major dealerships where they have their own dealership locations within them all across the country. Luckily the dealership was less than 50 miles from my location because they operate within a 50 mile radius. I was skeptical at first but be rest assured they’re legit. You e-sign and physically sign paperwork, after it goes through an agent contacts you to set up an appointment to pick up your car. When they arrive for pickup they do a quick test drive and inspection of the car and then you sign an acknowledgment form and a payment form. Just make sure you bank allows for RTP, which is “Real-Time Payment.” In other words, it’s an instant payment. You’ll verify you received it in front of the valet. Once you do, you hand over the keys and you’re good to go. Take everything out of the car and maybe clean it up a bit if it’s really dirty. Also take the license plates off. More

To say I was very skeptical about this process. ..particularly since I hadn't heard much about them (Driveway/Lithia)...is putting it mildly. After I selected a vehicle from the Driveway site and then went to the bank to make the wire transfer, all the management got involved and warned me about be scammed. I showed them the site, told them that I was being kept informed throughout the entire process, etc. and they finally processed the transfer. By that point, they were all amazed and wanted to see the vehicle the next time I had banking to do. At no point in the process was I concerned. Yes, the vehicle I was purchasing was coming from Arizona to Connecticut but having just totaled my car and suffering with two broken vertebrae in my back, the last thing I wanted to do was schlep around used car lots. I have to stay that the entire process from beginning to end was seamless. All my friends thought I got a fantastic deal and were amazed that this was all done online. Everyone I spoke to was exceptionally knowlegable about every phase of the process especially Kasandra Franell, Heather Nicholson & Melissa Ferreira. And being a single woman (if you can't tell why I am not fond of most used car salesmen), all three made me feel like I was in the best of hands. While I hope this car will last me a long time, I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Driveway and Lithia. A top drawer company with top-notch talent. This is clearly the way to go. Off to the bank now to show off my new wheels! More
