Poor Communication I brought my car in for service because the check engine light was on. The positive part was gentlemen who helped me schedule the appointment the n I brought my car in for service because the check engine light was on. The positive part was gentlemen who helped me schedule the appointment the night before was a pleasure to work with and provided excellent customer service. The negative- It started with the fact they don't provide loaner vehicles. Maybe this is normal now but we've had some work being done by a local Lexus dealership and they have provided a loaner free of charge for over a week. Luckily, Dublin GMC does offer a free shuttle service, but only for a 10 mile radius. Unfortunately for me I was 12.5 miles away. The shuttle driver was kind enough to take me one way, but I was on my own to get an Uber or find a ride back. Maybe I shouldn't have spent 80K to purchase my car at this dealership since it was more than 10 miles from my home? My biggest frustration was the fact I couldn't get a status of my car in a timely manner. I needed to plan for the next day and if I would have to get a rental car for work or if I would have mine back. I started calling the service department at 3:30, knowing they closed at 6PM. Unfortunately, the phone would ring and ring without an answer. I called back multiple times and tried different routes to get to the service. Sometimes, it would go to a non-descriptive voicemail box. I was finally able to get a hold of someone who offered to leave a message for my service adviser. Finally, I received a call at 5:48 PM letting me know it was a software issue and my car was done, so I hopped in an Uber and picked up my vehicle. More

While it was annoying not to have the vehicle finished at the said time, I understand. The thing that was the most annoying was the lack of update and wasted my time coming down to get a truck not finished. They finally called an hour later and said it was finished. I had a great experience buying my truck from here, and will give them another shot to redeem themselves. More
