2020 Chevy Spark CD I had a wonderful experience with the salesmen that assisted me, Joshua Hart. I thought he did a great job. Josh was very respectful and patient. He drove me around a bit to try the car out and showed me all the instruments on the car. He did a great job. The other associate Vicent (partner) was also good, very respectful and professional. Both had great follow-up skills and should be rewarded. My one issue was the way the way the Costco Gift Program was ran at the Chevy Dealership in Dublin. Josh worked with me and a finance agent (not sure of his name) to meet an agreement on the price of the car. Josh went to the gentleman to let him know what I would pay. Josh came back with a deal that I agreed on and initialed, $15,000 for the car and a $700 gift card from Costco. I initialed the agreement and was pleased with the deal. Then it was time to fill out the final documents. I worked with Brian Koski, Finance Manager. This is when I became upset. Brian said we would not know what our Costco gift card amount was until Costco knows what program I am on with them. That would determine the amount. I said, "Wait a minute, I just initialed an agreement with the salesman that I would pay $15,000 for the car and get a $700 card from Costco and now you are changing it?" So as of now I have been working with Costco endlessly (no help from Chevy) to find out how the program works. I absolutely do not blame Josh for this. I see him as the messenger. Who ever Josh went to, to work out the price of the car and the Costco Card is responsible for not being educated on how Costco's Car Program works and to pass this along to Josh. I hope you can see my disappointment. Bottom line, I initialed and agreed to purchase/card with Chevy in Dublin and when the final time came to close the deal the agreement changed! I am not sure how this week will play out with Chevy and Costco to get the $700 I was told I would get. I am 74 years old and $700 might not seem a big deal to you but it certainly is to me. Thank you for your time and I hope this helps the next client so they do not have to go through what I have been and still going through. Thank you for your time.
