Our visit to purchase a car was quick and easy, taking under three hours in total, including thoroughly checking out the available cars, doing a test drive, the offers, negotiations, paperwork and financi under three hours in total, including thoroughly checking out the available cars, doing a test drive, the offers, negotiations, paperwork and financing. We did our homework online first and knew exactly what we were looking for, including our specific model’s availability, color/options, and the best pricing for the entire bay area. Everyone at Dublin Toyota was exceptionally friendly, courteous and professional from the moment we arrived, allowing us ease of movement and all the time we needed to discuss options and checkout the cars that looked interesting all over the lot. But, we already knew which car we were interested in, and after the first hour or so we got serious… We requested documentation on everything and these guys provided it right away; they were honest, kept their promises realistic, and delivered everything 100% as we expected. Just to verify, we had our own certified mechanic check out the condition of the car, top to bottom, end to end: It is perfect and we couldn’t be happier! If you’re looking for a Toyota or other pre-owned car, then this is the physical place to start! Ask for these guys: AJ is super friendly, maintains a no-hassle style, and has really great follow-up; Ahmad is also great, a no-nonsense, no-BS negotiator; and Robbie is definitely the guy to see for financing! My advice: Don’t waste too much time with other dealers. Do your homework, and then see these guys first. You won’t regret it. They have definitely earned our repeat business for future vehicles…. ‘WARNING’!! DUBLIN TOYOTA STAFF VERY VIOLENT!! ‘WARNING’!! DUBLIN TOYOTA STAFF VERY VIOLENT!! WARNING!!! Worst Experience Ever!!! New car purchase from Dublin Toyota Scion BEWARE! The old “Bai ‘WARNING’!! DUBLIN TOYOTA STAFF VERY VIOLENT!! WARNING!!! Worst Experience Ever!!! New car purchase from Dublin Toyota Scion BEWARE! The old “Bait and Switch “game is still alive and well at Dublin Toyota Scion in Dublin, CA. On Sunday December12, 2010 I got a phone quote on a 2011 Toyota Camry from a Toyota dealership in Modesto, CA. Not wanting to drive that far my sister suggested that I call Dublin Toyota which was closer to see if they would match that price. I called Dublin Toyota and spoke to a salesperson that identified himself as “Jojo”. Jojo informed me that he would, indeed, match the price. My family and I drove down to Dublin Toyota where hoards of salespeople approached us. I insisted that I wanted to talk to Jojo. Jojo finally came out to greet us. I introduced myself and my family and informed Jojo of our earlier telephone discussion. After the introductions we went to Jojo”s desk and he wrote up the papers for the 2011 Camry but the out-the-door price was now $3,500 more than he had quoted on the phone. I told him that was not the price that I agreed to on the phone and that I wouldn’t buy the car at that price. He then shifted the conversation to a 2011 Venza that was on the showroom floor. He talked about what a great deal he could get me on a 2010 Venza because of the end of the year sale. He showed us the 2010 Venza which really was a nice cross-over SUV so we agreed to the out-the-door price $27,000.00 on the 2010 Venza. Jojo left the paperwork on the desk and went and talked to the “sales manager” and seemingly disappeared. The floor manager approached us and told us that he was now handling the transaction. That “Jojo doesn’t know how to sell cars, he’s been fired”. The floor manager took the paperwork and said “let me see what I can do”. He came back without the paperwork and started to try to start negotiations over stating that he could sale the Venza to us for $30,000.00. Once he said that I requested to see the manager…the person that he kept running back and forth to see. I went over to see the sales manager to find out what the problem was. I told him that I had initially agreed with Jojo to buy the 2011 Camry for $20,000.00 matching price of the Modesto dealership----that changed; the price was raised to $23,500.00. Now I had agreed with Jojo to buy the 2010 Venza for $27.000.00 out-the-door, that changed; now the price is $30,000.00 plus taxes and license. What’s going on here? You guys wasted my time I could have driven to Modesto and back by now. The sales manager got extremely belligerent and started using profanity…”I’m not selling you any f*xxxxx car; get the f*xx out of my dealership”. THE BOTTOM LINE HERE IS THAT THIS TYPE OF SITUATION CLEARLY SHOWS THAT THIS WAS A BAIT AND SWITCH TACTIC FROM THE VERY BEGINNING….TWICE NO LESS. THE FIRST TIME TO GET ME INTO THE DEALERSHIP UNDER THE GUISE OF MATCHING PRICES TO SALE ME THE CAR AT A HIGHER PRICE THAN PREVIOUSLY QUOTED: THEN, AGAIN, CHANGING THE AGREED UPON PRICE ON ANOTHER CAR. NOT TO MENTION THE ARROGANCE OF THE SALES MANAGER AND HIS GROSS DISRESPECT OF ME AND MY FAMILY. More
I had a service appt. for my 2006 Prius for a 90L recall. AFter waiting 11 minutes. A Mr. Ed Osbourne was in the process of writing up my repair order which took so long because he can't spell basic english AFter waiting 11 minutes. A Mr. Ed Osbourne was in the process of writing up my repair order which took so long because he can't spell basic english & was having difficulty reading. During this time, my vehicle was taken away & parked in the lot. I needed to get some items out of my vehicle so Ed had someone drive it back to me. I got my things gathered, when I saw the service manager walk by & he asked me if I needed any help, I told him yes & he helped me to the waiting room. I waited over 2 hours and ask the manager, Larry, what the status of my car was. he took my name and key # and left. He returned about 10 minutes later with the car, & apologized about the wait. I said that's nice, but I did have a loaner car reserved for me when I made my appointment, & I called yesterday to verify that I still had a car for me. Larry asked me "who did I speak to?" I said Mike Gaillego told me that I had a car reserved.I decided to leave at this point since nothing good was happening. I put my items into the trunk and drove away I turned around & drove right back to the dealership & asked to speak with the manager. After sometime he came out & I explained how the gas pedal is reshaped to the point that it cut my toe. I drive my sandals off sometimes. The pedal was so sharp I cut my big toe & it was dripping blood. Larry Tate, the manager called numerous people over to assist me & I said to him" AT what point were you going to apologize for this?!" He simply walked into his office & ignored me. Once I got cleaned up I left & I will never return to Dublin Toyota after the way they treated me. More
WATCH YOUR WALLET and head for the hills. Tried to overcharge me over 300% of what a mechanic fixed a simple problem for, then tried to tack on extra 'needed' repairs - to the tune of $3,700! Took th overcharge me over 300% of what a mechanic fixed a simple problem for, then tried to tack on extra 'needed' repairs - to the tune of $3,700! Took the car to my mechanic and runs like a charm for about $300 instead of $950 for the immediate problem of new spark plugs, oil and air filter, a new gasket cover, new fluids and an idle adjustment. They also tried to stall me when I told them NOT to start the work and wanted my keys back so I could take it to a legitimate mechanic. I heard about them before, but now I have experienced them first hand. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR SERVICE unless you have lots of extra cash to waste. Ends up the car did not even NEED the 'extra' $3,700 they were suggesting and it has run fine ever since! More

This is the worst dealership for service ever. They rip customers off big time. I went for 60K mile service on my Toyota Camry on 09/30/2007. I was given quotes of $549/-. I gave my car for service and cal customers off big time. I went for 60K mile service on my Toyota Camry on 09/30/2007. I was given quotes of $549/-. I gave my car for service and called some other deals including dealers in Fremont and Hayward, CA. To my surprise, the price for same service was $325/-. They charged me almost double of what I should have been charged. They also recommended me for changing timing belt, breaks and other parts at a total cost of $3000/-. Luckily I did not heed to their recommendations and just paid $549/-. When I asked for explanation for this price, they said that every dealership has its own price. I am never going there again. I would urge others to not go there. Instead, they can ask quotes from other dealers in the bay area for quotes and save some money. More
