The service at Duke Automotive in Suffolk, VA. was excellent upon arrival they checked me in right away and I was informed just how long it would take and I waited in the customer service lounge a was excellent upon arrival they checked me in right away and I was informed just how long it would take and I waited in the customer service lounge and all most to the minute of what I had been told they came in and notified me my car was ready. I got a State Inspection, Oil Change and Tire Rotation all of which were covered by a warranty that I purchased when I bought the car from Duke Automotive, Suffolk, VA. I would like to also add, I believe it was the owner who came in the Lounge checking on customers and thanking us for choosing Duke, that was an added bonus...I appreciate an owner who cares about her customers... My daughter and I drove 3 hours to test drive a car at Duke Chevrolet Buick GMC. The staff at Duke Chevrolet Buick GMC are the best. I got a Kelly Blue Book quote (11K+) for a car I was looking to sell through Duke Automotive. When I took this very clean and dealer (in another state) maintained car in for them to review it before the looking to sell through Duke Automotive. When I took this very clean and dealer (in another state) maintained car in for them to review it before the final transaction, I got yanked around multiple times. After the initial meeting where they declined to purchase, the general manager asked what my lowest price would be and he'd pass it on to the owner to see if he'd be interested in purchasing it for that amount. I followed up a couple of weeks later, and was told "yes" that he'd like to purchase it for a figure a bit lower than I'd mentioned to the general manager. But whenever I'd look to confirm a time to bring the car in and finalize, he'd take several days to follow up, making many excuses. Finally he said I needed to bring the car in for another inspection (I'd already wasted an hour and a half a month before doing just that). He did not reply to my email to confirm the time, until I left a voicemail on the day I'd checked in about coming in for that second inspection. He then emailed me to say that after reviewing the notes from the general manager that had retired (and that Duke had initially emailed me saying that he didn't have...) that they weren't interested in purchasing the car. Either they were BSing me the whole time, or they are totally incompetent. Either way, I would not recommend anyone wasting their time with these grifters. More

Self righteous sales personnel. Just looking at vehicles at the Suffolk fair and the Sales guy there was very rude pushy and ignorant.
