Was planning on buying a Ford Fusion (my last 3 vehicles were Ford/Lincoln products) and went to Ford dealership first but had poor experiences with both the sales person and the sales manager neither of whom knew their product or figured out how to get the car I wanted. Went to Earnhardt Hyundai (never owned one or even drove one previously) and ended up with a great car and a great car buying experience! More

Shayne Walker - Great Salesman! Shayne was great! The first time we stepped on the lot was about 3 weeks before we actually purchased. At that time we just wanted to see a lot of bra Shayne was great! The first time we stepped on the lot was about 3 weeks before we actually purchased. At that time we just wanted to see a lot of brands in a short period of time so we could develop our short list of candidates. We explained that to Shayne and he was completely cooperative. He really knew the products well and showed us many of the differently equipped Tucson's, Santa Fe's, and Santa Fe Sports. Even though our goal was to look at the different brands quickly we spent more time on the Hyundai lot than the other brands. Of course we returned and purchased the Tucson. I want to share this negative about the Tucson. I really wanted to purchase a full-up Tucson Turbo but ended up with a less-equipped 2 liter with normal aspiration. During the turbo test drive I thought the transmission would never complete it's shift. I researched and found that this was a problem with this transmission on the turbo. Although internet car reviewers are kind to the auto makers by not making a big deal about negatives, I felt this was crap that Hyundai should not have put into production. I understand you have design engineering and production deadlines but Hyundai chose to release crap for an entire model year and create negative customer perception instead of fixing it. You will always be chasing Toyota and never catch up until quality becomes a way of life instead of a slogan. It's not the car I'm disappointed with, it's the company. Perhaps next time the Toyota styling will be more to our liking. More
