unethical sales practices Today my son and I went into this dealership to look at it 2006 Ford F150 that at 80,000 miles on it for sale for $9,900. We found a salesperson that it told us after checking that this vehicle was still for sale. So they pulled it around for us to look at we spent time going through the truck it did have some interior damage to it was to be expected for a truck that's 12 years old. We like the truck and we told the person that we were interested in purchasing it but wanted to take it for a test drive first so Jake the sales person went in and got the keys and we went and took it for a test drive. But prior to leaving on the test drive another couple came out with the intentions of looking at the vehicle and since we were already in the process of talking with someone about it they stood off to the side and waited. When we got back from the test drive we told Jake that we were again interested in purchasing this truck and wanted to go inside and negotiate with them. They came out told us what the best price that they would sell the vehicle for and we asked him if we could talk to a sales manager to negotiate because of the Interior damage of the truck. It came back they took down our information my son's pre-approval paperwork and during the time that we were negotiating we had been told by a another salesperson that they sold the truck to the couple that was standing there waiting for us to get done with our test drive. A first told us that the person that come in and put down a $500 deposit prior to us showing up and they did not know it. But then after being frustrated that they did this I talk to the sales manager who then told me that that was not the case that the person decided to purchase the truck for cash for the listed price during while we were in negotiations with them for us to purchase it. So they not only lied to us about what happened for the sale to the other person but then asked us if we'd be interested in buying another vehicle from them. So they were already in negotiations with us and because they felt but they were not going to get their full asking price for the vehicle and the other person that was there to look at the vehicle paid the full price and in cash they sold it to them instead. We had no option to decline their counter-offer or make an offer during this time so they did not know what we were going to want to pay for this vehicle. Earnhardt's is always known for being shady and performing below Standard customer service but this takes the cake. I would never recommend anyone purchase a vehicle from Earnhardt Toyota unless they want to get the shaft or lie to. The funny part is as they were totally okay with what they had done. I find it all so amazing that they actually thought that we would purchase something different from them after they treated us in this fashion. Funny huh. I will never visit another Earnhardt Dealership in his Valley ever again and I recommend that no one else does either. Why should a business be allowed to sell cars to someone and treat customers in this way and make millions of dollars every year by doing so. I am going to post a review on every site that I possibly can including the Better Business Bureau. Today 2-4-2019 I have filed a complaint with the BBB. However, on two occasions I've needed regular maintenance service while temporarily in Mesa, and in both instances, I received very courteous and prompt service. On the most recent occasion, Devon was my assigned Service Tech, and he was very helpful. More

Excellant Car Buying Experience I started my search for a new Camry on the internet and found the Earnhardt website with an attractive Camry lease offer. I emailed for details and F I started my search for a new Camry on the internet and found the Earnhardt website with an attractive Camry lease offer. I emailed for details and Fred promptly responded. I believed Fred's sincerity when explaining the offer details and traveled to Phoenix. Only a couple hours in the dealership and I was on my way back with the new Camry! More
