I had an unfortunate experience with leigh on 6/30/2022. I am a long-term loyal Toyota customer. I had my final service appointment scheduled that was bringing me to my 2-year mark. In January when I was in, leigh told me, and I quote, “ be sure to come in by the end of June for the free service under the warranty.” I did just that. Her tone and rejection of my coverage was to say the least, disturbing. Her tone was what was most upsetting. She never once was able to look me in the eye and repeatedly respoke the same BS, that she could only do the rotation if I paid the 79. For the oil change. I explained to her what she told me in January, and she was adamant about not helping me and was lacking any customer service skills. She was twisting her words, back and forth, not listening to what I was saying, and was xxxx bent on being deceptive in how she was restating her words, repeatedly. All she had to do was listen, listen to what she had told me on the last visit, and adjusted accordingly to retain a good and loyal customer. Instead, she was combative and dismissive to my needs, time and request. I immediately left and went to visit my sales associate, Rafael Ortiz. I explained all that happened, and he said all she had to do was call him and he would have authorized the free service. She did not even attempt to do that, or anything even remotely close to helping me. To be so militant in her words, to not even consider a 2 week interval that she stated, and to try and make it work, was unacceptable. He did say he was going to address this, with you, upon your return t othe office on 7/1/2022. I have not heard a peep. I left Toyota universe 2 years ago because of deceptive service issues. I cam over to receive outstanding service from Rafael, only to now have this horrible experience with leigh. Her actions, or lack of, have now made me consider other options as my lease comes due. There are really no excuses for her words or demeanor. It was not busy. No one else was there. She did have an associate there, at the other desk, who listened and witnessed all of what went down. Rafael did say he would authorize the free service. I left and told him I needed to think about the experience. I schedule and am there on time. I take time from my schedule to come in and get the proper service. I am now hesitant to reschedule as my time is also important. To be treated like a criminal by her, after years of loyal service, is unacceptable. As I reflect upon this bad experience and decide how to move forward, you need to address this situation. More
I couldn’t wait to write this review! YOUSSEF is the real deal. From the moment we arrived on the lot, he greeted us and provided the most amazing service. Top-notch and pressure-free, he genuinely wanted us to leave with the car that we admired most. With him and Antonio with us, step by step, I must say that I will only go to them for vehicles in the future. Thank you both for such awesome support. If you’re looking for a car, Youssef is, without a doubt, your guy! More
The worst experience I have ever dealt with. I simply went to purchase my car and was told that a safety check was required, but that they were charging me $3,000 to have it be done. I brought m I simply went to purchase my car and was told that a safety check was required, but that they were charging me $3,000 to have it be done. I brought my car in for service the week prior and passed all inspections so this safety check was not needed. I received further confirmation on that when i went to the service center and they told me that this safety check was not required unless you were certifying the car as pre owned, which i was not. I have gone back to east coast toyota multiple times asking to have this payment be resolved in any way but they said they cannot do anything. I asked for documentation to show that $3,000 payment, and they said that they cannot disclose the paperwork. Legal action will be taken as they are essentially holding my money from me for something that was not needed or required and completely overcharged me for it. More

I found a car that fit my desired specs on Cars.com. The price was clearly listed on Cars.com. I called the dealership to confirm the price and they were very evasive, refusing to give me a quote on the ph price was clearly listed on Cars.com. I called the dealership to confirm the price and they were very evasive, refusing to give me a quote on the phone. When I came to the dealership, I discovered that they tacked on $5K to the sticker price, calling it a "market fee." It's a free country and they may do as they please, but to refuse a quote and to drag me there was despicable. My expression of concern about this practice was met with scorn. More
Very disappointed with East Coast Toyota. I have been a loyal customer of east coast Toyota.Over the last 7 years I have leased 6 new Toyota's 5 of which I got at East Cost Toyota and was about to get my 7 loyal customer of east coast Toyota.Over the last 7 years I have leased 6 new Toyota's 5 of which I got at East Cost Toyota and was about to get my 7th Toyota from them, beacase they always gave me an honest deal honored their promotions gave me a discount for my military service and customer loyalty. Something must have changed here this is my latest experience. Their internet salesperson Candy called me repeatedly and said since we had 6 months left on our Rav lease we qualified for an upgrade to a Highlander and that there was a promotion going on. With $2999 dn + tax title ect. We could get a Highlander LE for $279 per month for 36 months. We made the appointment and sat down with their salesman Fred and the games began. 1 Fred said the promotion was for the Highlander L (it was not) and he was out of stock but he had an LE which he could graciously let us have for over $10,000 dn and over $300 per month !!!! That this was the best he or his sales manager would do. They would not honor my customer loyalty (-$1500) could care less about my 36 years in the Army ($500 military discount) and acted as if taking back my 2018 Rav with 14,000 miles on it was a burden!!! We were forced to go over to the competition where we were treated respectfully. Our salesman James White got us a great deal on a higher trim XLE with a little more down and $330 per month for 36 months. I have a Tundra lease thats coming due soon so I will be talking soon with James over at Toyota Universe about my 8th Toyota where I was treated with respect you know the way it used to be at East Coast More
BUYERS BEWARE!. I do not recommend this place if you are NEW car buyers. I went for test driving few days back for an SUV. The price quoted by one of the sales quy was one of the most inflated , their excu NEW car buyers. I went for test driving few days back for an SUV. The price quoted by one of the sales quy was one of the most inflated , their excuse was COVID for the inflated price of the SUVs. They wouldnt even give me a price break down, as they were asking MSRP price plus tax /title, registration and other fees they didnt want to show you in writing. Unless I agree to buy their car at inflated price.. They didnt even mention/hid the the 1500 Toyota rebate for SUV for March 2021. While most dealers are selling much below MSRP. If you havent done your market research before you buy a car from this place they will take you for a ride. This is also a very small dealership they are not high volumes sales like some of the other competitor who had better pricing within 20 -30 mile radius. Check out other dealerships and do the market research, you fill find much better deals. If you are not good at Market Research before buying a NEW CAR, you can even try using Costco Auto Program.. you will get much better deals/pricing then this place. I was warned about this place, It just revalidated what i had heard. I brought the NEW SUV from another dealership. More
Very good service. Professional and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend if looking for a new or used vehicle. Look for Candy or Brian Fred Meyer in the sales department if you plan to visit. definitely recommend if looking for a new or used vehicle.
