I have not needed to visit a dealership in years. I was very hesitant and very anxious about it. The van I had was on its' last leg and I needed to replace it. While I was waiting for the van to arrive, he checked on me to let me know the status of the car arrival.. When the van arrived, he advised me and I test drove it around.. I was happy with the vehicle. I came in with a Capital One autoloan check. I was advised by William that I might be able to obtain a better deal finance wise. I really didn't think I was going to get a better deal. I was very pleased to receive financing with a much lower rate than Capital One was offering and a monthly car note that I could handle. I was taken to another area to begin the paperwork for the purchase of the vehicle. The young lady was very helpful and advised me of every detail for each piece of paper that I signed. Both Mr. William J. Mitchener and Mr. Jeff Winchester did outstanding jobs in making me feel free and easy to make a selection. There was no pressure whatsoever. I knew Mr. Winchester from the golf course and had deliberately visited the dealership because of him. Both gentlemen provided facts and answered all questions my wife and I had about the vehicle (2007 Mercedes Benz S550) that I ultimately ended up purchasing. Mr. Mitchener is good at his job, but Mr. Winchester is smooth! He has been selling cars for more than 20 years and it shows. There was not a question I threw him that he could not only answer, but never stumbled at a reply. I love Mercedes Benzes and did a significant amount of research before I entered the dealership. However, when I left, I was all the wiser and it was in large part to those two gentlemen. That is the reason why I happily write this review on their behalf. Only time will tell if they were perfect salesmen just to get me to sign on the dotted line or are they trying to have my repeat business. Over a month ago, I purchased a 2010 Toyota Corolla and Kenneth Canterburg was my salesman. When my husband and I first drove upon the lot, there were a few salesmen outside the front entrance observing ou Kenneth Canterburg was my salesman. When my husband and I first drove upon the lot, there were a few salesmen outside the front entrance observing our arrival. We sat there momentarily thinking at least one of them would be quick to approach and greet us. Mr. Canterbury must have noticed our arrival from inside the building and before I knew it, he was there helping us from the car with the most enthusiastic personality. My husband and I made eye contact with each other, confirming that he would be our saleman. I apologize for taking so long before I wrote this review (busy schedule), but I could'nt let this get by without giving Mr. Canterbury his accolades. He worked most diligently throughout our car buying experience at Eastern. He also made sure we were comfortable and happy with the purchased we made. My daughter will be purchasing a car in a couple of months and Mr. Canterbury will be her salesman also. His personality is what I want in a saleperson when I making a major decision or simply spending my hard earned money.
