I came to Echopark not really knowing what to expect. I was paired with Dawn as my guide and I was blown away. Not only was she very knowledgeable about cars but she is also very welcoming and kind. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing due to unprofessional communication with M’Lyia and zero communication from the service department. Timely, respectful, and clear dialogue is a basic expect unprofessional communication with M’Lyia and zero communication from the service department. Timely, respectful, and clear dialogue is a basic expectation, but I encountered delays, lack of follow-through, and dismissive responses that reflected poorly on the organization's professionalism. I have purchased 3 vehicles and referred 6 people to EchoPark and unfortunately will not be doing that with EchoPark Duluth, GA. I purchased a Jeep Wrangler and had an awesome sales experience with Oscar. The next day while driving out of town the vehicle began to experience what’s known as a “death wobble” my partner and I were terrified as it repeatedly shook aggressively while we fought to maintain control of the vehicle on the highway. I immediately contacted EchoPark and dropped my vehicle off as instructed on Saturday for my appointment today. M’Lyia called today to confirm that I would be dropping my vehicle off which presented a concern because my vehicle was already there. When I spoke to her she was unable to provide any updates from the shop (my appointment was at 10:30 I checked on my vehicle at 3). I was later told that the mechanic could not recreate the issue and so my vehicle would be released to me for pick up and if I chose to take it to a Jeep dealer the cost would be my expense even though I purchased the warranty. I brought my vehicle in with a specific issue, and unfortunately, after multiple phone calls, explanations, and considerable time the problem remains unresolved. Communication was minimal, and I left each time without clear explanations or a sense of confidence in the work. Reliable service includes both technical expertise and customer transparency—neither were delivered here. I wouldn’t recommend EchoPark Duluth Service department based on my experience. Although I am now tied nearly a 40k loan, auto insurance and car payments that will continue to be an expense even though I have a car that is not safe to operate at this time and a dealership unable to fix the issue; I hope this feedback helps encourage improvements in how interactions are handled moving forward. More
