dealership review for car purchased in June of 2013 We bought a 2013 BMW X1. We love the car. The car is in good condition and the experience with the salesman was good. But, there were two things th We bought a 2013 BMW X1. We love the car. The car is in good condition and the experience with the salesman was good. But, there were two things that should have been fixed or at least we should have been informed about. The first one concerns condition of the tires. One of the four tires was low on air before we drove it off the lot. When this was pointed out, all the dealership did was add more air. They didn't investigate what was the cause of the loss of air. So, thinking it was fixed, we drove the car home and behold, the tire was flat the next day. My mechanic investigated and found a cheap repair had been made to plug a hole in the tire. It was a non professional repair that stuffed rope into the hole as the fix. A professional repair would have put in an expanded plug, or even a different tire. As a side comment, these tires were supposed to be in good condition, or with very few miles, or so the salesman told me. I was not expecting a repair to a tire such as this for a tire with low milege. Second thing. We were given a check list of things that the dealer (Car Biz) went over with the car. This list had checked the brakes with no known issues. I was also told they didn't need to be replace anytime soon, as the car only at 42k on it. However, as it turns out, the front rotors were shot, and needed replacing. Fortunately, the car had 7K miles left on original warranty, and this was done at a BMW dealer at no charge to me. But, the inconvience was not what I wanted to go through or expected after driving this car off the lot thinking this car was up to date on maintenance. Bottom line, even though the car looks right, and the dealer tells you everything check out, you need to go over everything yourself and don't take their word for it. Had we bought the car with just a little more miles on it, I would have been out 850 dollars and the car would have been less of a good deal. But, overall, I am pleased with the car. More

Great customer service! I was actually referred to Carbiz by my uncle and aunt. They have been customers of Carbiz for years. I went in without any expectation of actually purchasing a car. Javier was great. I actually spent over 4 hours there. At 1st I wanted to add a cosigner to my potential loan but after working the numbers it was best for me to do the loan by myself. Javier was very patient and walked me through the process step by step. He was very attentive and understanding of my situation. He gave me time to think the loan over. I was provided refreshments as well. After 4 hours I was given the keys to my used car that had under 30,000 miles on it. We test drove the car and loved it. I had actually rented the same exact car before so I was comfortable with the car. I signed all my paperwork with Myron who is a total riot. He's hilarious and makes the paperwork process go by quick and smooth. Most recently I have had to return to sign additional documents and I was given a $12 car ticket for free gas. I was more than excited about that. I love my car! I love Carbiz! Oh...they even give people who have referred someone a referral check. The service and attention to detail was superb!
