He talked with me at length about what I was doing and why I was there. He brought humor and levity to a stressful decision. He was patient with us as we test drove different vehicles. He even took us into the detailing area to compare two trucks side by side (which he was not allowed to do.) He broke every stereotype of a used car salesman, treated us with respect and was terrific to work with. If every salesman doing his type of work was more like him the industry would be far different. Thanks for your service and honesty! Great experience. More

The process can take a day but mine took two because I had to bring my stubs. Nevertheless, he was with me from start to finish. I went in on a whim one Thursday evening after chatting with him on their online website with a list of 5 different car finishes (that just shows how massive their inventory is, we all love options) same model and make of course and we narrowed it down to one. He is patient, respectful and prompt! It has been three months now and Ed still checks on me and how the vehicle is serving me! Now that’s customer service!!! Ed, if you’re not employee of the year I’m not sure who deserves it more! You rock and you’re the best! Go see Ed, he’s ready to serve you with with a smile! More
Disappointed and unimpressed This was my first visit and experience at EchoPark/Driverselect. Based on what I had read, I expected a much different and better experience. I was ho This was my first visit and experience at EchoPark/Driverselect. Based on what I had read, I expected a much different and better experience. I was hoping for a customer centric, no hassle or haggling, streamlined process. I got just the opposite. First, I planned on getting a headstart so I told the sales associate that I was very interested and submitted a finance app in advance. When my wife and I got to the dealership it was very busy and crowded but it was Saturday afternoon so that's expected. I was pleased with the efficient process of taking a test drive without the sales guy and returning the car. That was about all I was pleased about. It was very busy and I get it but wait times were longer than expected and there was staff running around everywhere. We decided we wanted to buy the car so we started the whole negotiation process. I knew the price of the car was right so it was about my trade in and the financing. I had done my research and had some very conservative expectations in mind. The trade offer was about $1500 less than avg blue book for a very nice low mileage Lexus. I decided I could live with this if we could make the financing work. I was looking for anything spectacular, only financing about $15k so 3 years at 5% or lower which seemed reasonable. I guess not because I spent the next hour+ going back and forth with our sales guy plus the "desk" guys(another annoyance of the typical dealership tactic) and the finance manager. I figured out that since the price of the cars is below avg, the difference is made up by offering low trade values and upselling the extras and pushing for the "preferred" finance partners. The terms were not favorable and I almost walked a couple of times. We ended up with a 5 yr term at 5.9% since I was told I could prepay without penalty. The entire experience was not fun and I will not be a repeat customer. To top it off, the next day I was looking the car over out in the sun an noticed that it has some substantial paint work done(the entire rear driver side door) that didn't match, had overspray on the window and trim. The CarFax I was given showed no accidents so this was either minor enough that it didn't have to be reported or it was falsified. I'm keeping the car and living with it but I'm not a satisfied customer. More
