We've had an apartment and bank account here for over 20 years, we are in our 60s and 70s but were pretty much accused of money laundering!!! I am the primary driver here, ive been driving for over 40 years. I'm not able to get an American drivers license because i dont have a social security number, and i dont have one of these because I'm not a resident here. So EchoPark have discriminated against me because i'm not american!!! This is utterly appalling and unacceptable. It took the finace jobsworth over 3 hours to tell us this! We've purchased a number of cars over the decades we've lived here part time. NEVER has not having an American drivers license been an issue. We pay taxes here and contribute significantly to the local economy, its disgraceful. We have written also to the CEO of echopark, not that will produce anything positive I'm sure. Sold My Reserved Truck to Someone Else – Avoid EchoPark Henderson I went to EchoPark Henderson on March 12, 2026, to buy a specific used Ford Ranger. Salesperson Ken was polite and helpful: he explained Henderson I went to EchoPark Henderson on March 12, 2026, to buy a specific used Ford Ranger. Salesperson Ken was polite and helpful: he explained the fully loaded out-the-door price, shared the Carfax, and let me test drive it. I went home satisfied and that same evening placed a $500 deposit online to reserve it. EchoPark staff told me in-store this deposit would hold the vehicle. Right after paying, I received their confirmation email stating "Congratulations on your purchase". Still on 3/12, I called to confirm the exact cashier's check amount needed (planning to return 3/13 or 3/14 with full payment). No one called back. I followed up first thing 3/13 morning—still nothing. Then at 1:30 PM on 3/13, the Sales Manager texted/called: "Sorry, we accidentally sold your vehicle this morning. Our online system didn't communicate with our in-store system." When I asked why no callback the day before or how this happened, they cited "system issues" with zero explanation or accountability. What a disaster. If your deposit doesn't actually reserve the car and basic follow-up fails, walk away. This location is poorly run—don't waste your time. (They offered to refund my $500, which I'll take, but trust is broken.) More
