Although preowned vehicles are sold "as is", at Economy Honda they perform a 92-point inspection, made sure all fluids and tire pressure were where they needed to be, and the car was immaculate. Had the car inspected at home by my mechanic and it is in excellent condition. Worth the drive for the low price on the vehicle, low dealer fees compared to other dealerships, honesty in not charging unneccessary fees, good value (inspected and sold in good working order), and excellent service (Chris and Matt). I went in for an oil change and tire rotation, and walked out with $500 in repairs. They broke off my stud (granted I told them to try) taking off the lug nut. So to fix I needed a new wheel bearing and stud out with $500 in repairs. They broke off my stud (granted I told them to try) taking off the lug nut. So to fix I needed a new wheel bearing and stud. I went with the "cheap" $60 aftermarket instead of the $220 OEM and said fix those and I'll do the rest. Well I started to get a wobbling sound because apparently my right tire was loose after that. I took it back in and they said that's what you get with aftermarket parts and we'll charge you another $160 for OEM and no labor costs. Question: What the point of aftermarket parts if they don't work? Every vehicle has aftermarket parts that work totally fine. So I'll just get the whole wheel assembly online for less than $60 and put it on myself with the help of a friend. As far as the other $500 in recommended repairs (brakes, filters, and rotors), I think I'll handle that myself too. Prices are ridiculously high! When they were on Chapman Rd they left off my oil cap after an oil change and covered my engine with oil that night, the next day they cleaned it up and then wrecked it bringing me my vehicle. That whole place is bad, except for service reps. They are at least nice. More
