BEWARE of FRAUDULENT Sales Tactics at Economy Honda The eSales folks were great and we decided to drive to Chattanooga for a car that we found online. When you get to the dealership, you NEVER see the friendly eSales team members, but have to deal with the traditional car salesman. Uggghhh!!! If you plan to purchase a car at this location, then please expect to take a VERY long time waiting for them to get your paperwork together. Oh, and they will DEFINITELY add on additional fees that were NEVER discussed and say, "Oh, well everybody always gets this." Not to mention that YOU will pay THEIR BUSINESS taxes. They will claim that it is a law that you have to pay THEIR taxes, but when I called BOTH the county tax department AND the state tax department, it was completely confirmed that their claims are bogus. With all of the class action lawyers out there chasing million dollar trials, this one would be a SLAM DUNK because EVEN the dealership's General Manager unlawfully made these claims that are fraudulent. If I had time, I would gladly lead the charge to make sure that car shoppers do not get preyed upon by these sharks. Oh, and...if you're shopping from out of town, make sure that you demand your title. We've been waiting since past our temporary tag date and still haven't received our title. Not to mention that they tried to overcharge us for our local taxes. At the end of the day, I probably should have walked away, but I realize that their behavior is just the industry's accepted practice. I will NEVER return to economy Honda because the overall buying experience was downright shameful. More

We then looked at a 14 Pilot EX 4WD and I loved it. He applied no pressure when I said I lived out of town and had to discuss all details with my family. I put a down on a Pilot that afternoon and we were off! I purchased a 14 Pilot EX-L 4WD and am totally satisfied with the treatment I received from Harold and the pricing was outstanding. He did not make me feel pressured at all and gave me all the time I needed to make a decision on which vehicle was right for me and my family. I made several trips and drove several different vehicles before deciding on a 2013 Ford Edge. The dealership is very busy, however Harold always made me feel important as a valued customer. I was very indecisive, but he never rushed me or made me feel like I was being a bother(which I know I was!!!) I returned later in the day to drive the car and made the decision to make the purchase. Marty was very helpful with the pricing and then later with the trade in. He was very patient with me and I never felt pressured. When Marty handed us over to Hank the process went very well. I was not expecting to take possession of the car that night but it was a nice feeling to have made a decision and be driving my car home.
