Ed Napleton Honda in Oak Lawn - Service Center

Turned away my request for service assistance I had a near dead battery in a leased vehicle that was only 2 years old. I had to call Roadside Assistance who told me to go to a dealer immediately I had a near dead battery in a leased vehicle that was only 2 years old. I had to call Roadside Assistance who told me to go to a dealer immediately for a replacement battery. I spoke with a Service Advisor at Ed Napleton Honda in Oak Lawn and explained my emergency. I asked if there would be a charge if the battery had to be replaced. Because I leased my vehicle (it was 2 years old and had less than 25,000 miles) I knew it should be covered but I just wanted to confirm that it would be replaced at no cost to me. The Service Advisor then asked if I leased the vehicle from Ed Napleton Honda. When I confirmed that I leased from another dealer, he told me that I should go to that dealer and not to Ed Napleton. I live 5 minutes from Napleton and 45 minutes by expressway from Valley Honda in Aurora, Illinois! Well, I did go to Valley Honda in Aurora, Illinois and they replaced my battery for free and then I requested that they change my oil, filters, add fluids and rotate my tires! I told them how I was treated by Napleton and they said they would never do that to anyone in the Honda family. Everyone at VALLEY HONDA are the BEST - from sales to service, they really treat their customers right! More

Highway robbery for an oil change $80. Went for an oil change today and was charged twice what another dealership would’ve cost me. Believe me it would benefit you to shop around. I have purchase all of my cars from them but will not be doing so in the future. Call other dealerships and compare their prices. I paid $80 for an oil change and called another dealership and their price was $44.95 plus tax. They’re friendly but the price is too high. The other dealership also gives cards to punch for free oil changes after you’ve paid for 5. They are close to me but next time I’ll travel. More
