Best part of the experience was Stephen Empie our sales person. Stephen was knowledgeable and took all the time necessary to answer the questions and get us comfortable with the car. At all times, we felt Stephen was working for us - to find the car we wanted, instead of just what the dealership might want to sell us. In addition, the finance person we worked with to purchase the car (Andrew? not sure) was excellent - straight to the point and working with us to complete the process. I didn't work with any of the people listed below, but I had to rate them to submit this review, so I put a neutral 3 in there. This is a very poor survey form for many reasons, primarily that I was forced to rate people I never worked with. Why didn't this survey list the people I did work with? Service was not very helpful in get my car looked at for a potential mechanical problem. My car is under warranty and I was told that they didn't have technicians to look at or repair my car. My 2020 Telluride's panoramic sunroof burst while sitting in my garage. Took pics that showed it clearly burst upward, plus many other pics of exterior and interior. Two days later the service manager call in my garage. Took pics that showed it clearly burst upward, plus many other pics of exterior and interior. Two days later the service manager calls and asks me to stop by. He shows me a pic that they took of a "ping" along the driver side edge of the sunroof, making this an accident that would not be covered by my warranty. I shared my photos with him that showed NOTHING along the edge. In fact no marks at all. The car was parked in my garage when it burst. Bottom line? They're calling me a liar to avoid covering a well-documented flaw (Google it. Tellurides panoramic sunroofs burst. It's common.) The dealer knows my insurance will cover the repair, so to them no biggie, right? Sure. If you don't mind being called a liar. My advice is to find another Kia dealership. By the way, I don't believe any of the individuals listed work on this site there anymore. More
Worst Experience I have ever had at a dealership. Honestly, I felt like they did not want to sell the car. The price on the internet was different than what was offered. This was a used car that had 2,811 miles on it and they were selling higher than a new model. And they would not even begin to negotiate of listen to reason. Their only statement was that the market will allow for increased cost. And they are losing money at this price. I have worked as a sales person for over 26 years and this is no way to sell a product. And the financial/management team that was there were encouraged this behavior and were stating the same rhetoric. I would NOT recommend this dealership or the Ed Voyles Dealership family to anyone. My Optima was losing power while I was driving. I looked under the hood and the battery cable was loose. I had someone tighten and try to give a jump but it still wouldn't start. I was 2 min from the Ed Voyles Kia - Smyrna dealership so I had it towed there. I waited until I was finally helped by one of their reps in the repair department. The rep told me it would be 14-21 business days before they could get to my car to even diagnose the problem. The rep also told me that there were multiple recalls on my car. I'm thinking because it's the dealership it would be fine. They had my car from April 8, 2022 - May 15, 2022. Fast forward to Wednesday, June 15, 2022 the car wasn't driving like it used to. It felt very different. The car stopped while my daughter was driving. It sat for a little while and was able to start so she drove it home. I checked the oil because of how it sounded and the dipstick was bone dry. No oil AT ALL! I thought that maybe the technician forgot to put oil in and bought 4 quarts of oil. The car took 3 of them. I called to speak to the manager of the repair department and was told he wouldn't be back until next week and left my name and number for him to call me back. After I added the oil my car drove perfect. I let my daughter drive and it broke down again on Saturday, June 18, 2022. This time you can clearly see there is oil all around the car. When she tried starting the car it was ticking and putting out black smoke. They had to have forgotten to tighten the oil plug. Now my car's engine is blown. I wish I had known that this dealership was known for doing bad work. I never would have left my car with them and would have had it towed somewhere else. More
