If you are considering buying a vehicle from this business, please read this first before you make your final decision. My relationship with Eddy's Toyota started in April of 2020. I saw the new C business, please read this first before you make your final decision. My relationship with Eddy's Toyota started in April of 2020. I saw the new Camry in an ad and thought they looked great, so I went in to look at them. I had recently hit a deer and needed a replacement vehicle. The sales process was your typical experience as you'd imagine. Lots of upselling, trying to get me to buy extended warranties, etc. I managed to make it back to the finance office after negotiating the price and we agreed on a final amount. I was happy with the price and left feeling good. The trouble began 3 days after I had brought the car home from the dealership. I received a call from the same individual that I worked with in the finance office. This individual stated that they had "accidentally shredded" the $15,000 cashier's check I had used as a down payment on my new vehicle I had brought home just days prior. He stated that it "must have accidentally been shredded while they were handling the paperwork upstairs". He then asked me on the phone, "Is there a way you could ask your bank and get us another one? My boss is kind of on me about it." As you could imagine I was at a loss for words. I've never been in this situation, nor had anyone I'd ever heard of when they purchased a vehicle from any dealership. At that moment, I had suspicions they were trying to screw me out of my money and that there was some foul play going on. After I had hung up with that individual, I called my bank to ask about the status of the cashier's check and to see if that individual had been telling the truth or not. When I called my bank (BofA), they confirmed the cashier's check had not been cashed yet. That eased my mind to an extent. At least I could take the foul play out of this for the time being. "Maybe it had just been an honest mistake?" I thought. Afterwards, I asked the Branch Manager about any solutions to this issue at hand and she presented me with two options. Option 1 was Eddy's had to wait 90 days for the check to be eligible to be reissued. She said this was to combat attempts of fraud. That made perfect sense to me in my mind. Option 2 was that Eddy's could purchase a Surety Bond from my bank (BofA) for around $200. After the purchase of the bond, a new $15,000 check would be reissued and the old check voided. I presented those two options to the individual in Finance at the dealership and he chose to go with Option 1. Eddy's was to wait the 90 day period until the check would be eligible to be reissued. After the 90 days, they would receive their check. I was pleased with how the conversation went and we agreed we'd speak again in the coming months as the 90 day period came to an end. What I did not realize, unfortunately for me, was that this individual was going to call me weekly for the entire 90 day period to ask the same question I had already answered before. He especially loved to call me during work. I don't know how he expected me to get him another $15,000 check before the period had passed. I kept telling him the same information the bank told me and insisted that I would get him the check when it was eligible to be reissued. "Hey Brandon, this is the individual from Finance up at Eddy's Toyota and I was hoping that there was a way you could get us that check." It got to the point where the only thing I could do was laugh about it. This whole situation was so ridiculous that I just wanted it to be over with. I just wanted my car and to leave this behind me. I've never seen incompetence and unprofessionalism to this level in my life. After the 90 day period was over with, and lots of missed (ignored) calls from the individual in Finance later, I went to the bank and got them the reissued $15,000 check to replace the previous one that had been "accidentally shredded while doing the paperwork upstairs". I walked into the dealership to give them the check and asked for the ma More
Service and sales departments are horrible. Sales are incredibly rude and disrespectful when attempting to discuss a new purchase. Never listen to what you actually want and push to sell you the highest dollar amount vehicle they have. As far as offering highest amount for a trade they low ball you so much that it actually can be considered a major insult for your vehicle. Service department never actually looks at issues that you discussed about your vehicle and only attempt to upsell items that are a quick turn around. Parts department is the only department that is polite and incredibly helpful. More

Definition of sleazy salesmen. Low-balled my trade-in. Tried to get $5k above MSRP. Refused to honor Toyota's financing and new grad offers. Hard hit to my credit after explicitly Low-balled my trade-in. Tried to get $5k above MSRP. Refused to honor Toyota's financing and new grad offers. Hard hit to my credit after explicitly saying they were just ''checking my pre-approval'' and promising it would not affect my credit. Refused to communicate over email, got our appointment date wrong, and kept blowing up my phone. Only thing that went right was that I got to test-drive a similar car. More
It's pretty sad when the very 1st nice vehicle you buy is your 1st experience with a car lot. Eddy's Toyota in Wichita and they knowingly sell you a xxx. I have paid more in trying to get the truck right the your 1st experience with a car lot. Eddy's Toyota in Wichita and they knowingly sell you a xxx. I have paid more in trying to get the truck right then I have made in payments. My dream truck, something that I always wanted and. And now I get to make payments to a mechanic and spend the little I have in savings to buy an old junker like I've always had all the while still making new car payments. More

He made up a story about how his Tundra needed a motor replaced for the car seat and it was going to cost him $1,800 to fix. Brad told me the additional packages he purchased saved him $1,800. I declinced the additional packages. Brad, immediately was salty. He kept asking where the money came from. As far as I'm concerned, the money came from the bank in a form of a check. Brad also said "I hope you like the car when it's more expensive." He said this because I declined his packages. He definitely ruined the car buying experience. The dealership should consider making changes. First, get rid of Brad. Second, listen to their customers. For example, the sales person sells me a car for $30,000 out the door. I will pay $30,000 out the door. I don't want to see or talk to Brad. I definitely don't want to go in his rat hole office. I have purchased vehicles before Brad worked there. I know what it's like to purchase a vehicle. I want everyone to know my experience at Eddy's. Most likely there won't be any changes. We can only hope for the best. More
