Life Savers My GMC Acadia had been acting up ever since I bought it in July19. In Aug19 It broke down just outside of Troy while taking my daughter to college. It My GMC Acadia had been acting up ever since I bought it in July19. In Aug19 It broke down just outside of Troy while taking my daughter to college. It was towed to a Chevy dealership because the car totally shut down with a strong smell of gas fumes. Now Oct19, I was on my way to pick my grandson up for the weekend and my car started acting the same as before. I didn’t know what I was going to do. I pulled off 65 at the first exit possible. The whole time I’m wondering if I’m going to make it back home. I look up and there is Edwards Chevrolet. I’ve never gone to dealerships to get cars repaired because I’ve heard it would cost an arm and a leg. I pulled in at 5:30 and Jonathan Cushen was the first person I saw. He was so nice and very friendly. I was so happy that he was able to see the car acting up personally. He reassured me they would look at it and he would tell the technician what was happening. I felt so much better knowing he saw the problem. He took care of everything. Jonathan called me back the first of the week and told me they were still researching the problem and gave me possible problems happening and talked to me about my options. He said the technician was still not through looking at the car because the problem had disappeared. The technician drove the car home to make it act up again. He continued working with the car and finally diagnosed it. The cost was no were near what I expected nor what I paid back in Aug19. I am very happy and thankful Jonathan was there to help me. I will be back to have my routine visits performed. Thank you Edwards Chevrolet More
