I was prepared for this to go into the weekend. Louis called me the next morning, gave me a price and told me he was ready to get it done. Not up to their usual standards I have always enjoyed taking my car to Elder Ford for regular maintenance, until this last visit. I drive from Lakeland which is about 50 miles so I w I have always enjoyed taking my car to Elder Ford for regular maintenance, until this last visit. I drive from Lakeland which is about 50 miles so I wait in the waiting room. First of all my car was done too quickly. I wonder if they did everything they were supposed to do. Second, the woman that signed me in yelled out my name 3 times when my car was done. She did not come in the waiting room to get me as they have always done in the past. And thirdly, they did not wash my car as they have always done. It was dirty and I was disappointed. I am a senior alone and it is difficult for me to wash my SUV, so I look forward to that when I bring it in for service. I am debating whether to give them another chance or see if I can get my service done at the local Ford dealership. More

Making it Right As soon as he learned of the type of Explorer I was interested in, Cesar spent a great deal of time with me scouring the lot to find exactly what I wa As soon as he learned of the type of Explorer I was interested in, Cesar spent a great deal of time with me scouring the lot to find exactly what I was looking for. Cesar then to my surprise, deftly extricated my vehicle, when it was clear it was blocked behind another vehicle which was deemed immovable. I didn't see how it was possible, but Cesar made it happen, in the process averting what just had been an imminent impediment to everyone’s goal of shepherding a potential deal to the next stage. Next, what could have been a major disappointment and deal-breaker in my finding several scratches on the hood of the vehicle (nobody's fault as things happen during transport/storage), was turned into a positive when Cesar said he would take care of it. After the sale, I then returned with the vehicle at my convenience (consistent with Cesar’s instructions and more evidence of his high level of customer service) where he wasted no time whisking me to the detailing area, where his man conducted a deep buff procedure to effectively remove the once very visible scratches to the naked eye. I’m virtually assured these will remain invisible, but if not, Cesar reassured me that whatever needed to be done, be it subsequent buffing, or a new hood installation, my long term happiness and a repeat businesses relationship was the main objective. This did make me very happy, as well as a very strong repeat buyer candidate 36 months from now. All in all, it was an excellent experience dealing with the exuberant personalities at Elder Ford! It's been well over a week with my new vehicle and so far, so good! Thanks Cesar! More
