Excellent Service A couple of weeks back I brought my 2012 F250 ford truck into Elgin Toyota on Rte. 20 that was in need of repairs. In the past I have used the Ford dealership in Elgin and have not been satisfied with their service. I decided to try the new Elgin Toyota dealership. When I arrived at the service department I explained to a Mr. Ryan Baum and Mr. Mike Barich who were both present at the time about the repairs that needed to be done, Both Mr. Baum and Mr. Barich were very helpful and courteous in assisting me. I also informed them that I needed new tires for the truck they were very informative about different types and price ranges that would best suite my needs and affordability. When I came to pick up my truck Mr. Baum took the time to explain in detail all of the repairs that were done. I had such excellent service from your dealership I will continue to bring all my vehicles in for service and repairs, I will also highly recommend to friends and family to contact Mr. Baum and or Mr. Barich to set up an appointment with your dealership for their service and repairs. I wanted to take time from my busy schedule to commend the two gentlemen for excellent service received at Elgin Toyota. Thank you sincerely Mr. Thurman More
Not the best I bought a used car here, over 12000 dollars. I felt like because I didn't buy a NEW car they treated me like second-hand. I had a small issue. When I purchased the vehicle I didn't notice that the radio antenna was missing from the vehicle. I mentioned it to the service person when I came for my first oil change. Not only did they not fix it, he ignored my concern. I called twice about it and twice was hung up on. Finally on my third time calling back I asked for a manager and was told I would receive a call back. 2 hours later the manager calls back and tells my wife she had to take up this service problem with the salesman that sold us the car. He also matter of factly quotes a price for the antenna, (50 or 60 dollars mind you) completely ignoring our concern that the antenna was never there when we bought the car. Mind you he had a pretty bad tone for a certified car dealership manager. I want to mention that my wife and I are not the type to harass service personnel and throw our "customer is first" weight around, but we certainly felt like we were not treated well. I finally received a call from my salesman Frank Cruz and he told me to come on in and just like that he came out with the antenna in hand popped it on, no big deal, I could listen to NPR on the radio. Frank is the reason for the second star that I'm giving in my rating of this dealership's service. I'd like to also mention that when I came for the first oil change about 3 months after buying the car (which they claimed could be a certified vehicle if I paid the extra money) they tell me that the front brakes are in the red and will begin gouging the rotors soon. I'm thinking: how could that be if the car could have been a certified vehicle? When you make a purchase of a new or newer model vehicle, you just don't want to feel like you're getting bad service. It was my intention to get all my service done with this same dealership, but I will not. More

I limped into the dealership, and within a few minutes, they had a loaner, helped me switch out all the kids car seats (so much easier with help) and had me back to our family event in no time! Repair was done quick, and explained so I could understand it, and back on the road. These guys have always treated me like gold, and it is appreciated!!! More

Always satisfied November 2015. Had to have my Prius towed in at night -- Rudy took my call and directed me to the towing company -- got a call before noon the next d November 2015. best experience ever I went there about a month back and i was immediately greeted by Rob whom took care of the service process. I felt my business was more then appreciated and it was a nice feeling. I have had terrible dealings with lombard toyota where i intially purchased the vehicle. I wish i went to Elgin Toyota and thanks to those great employees i will continue to bring my business there More
Bought a used car from Frank Cruz who was a good salesman not too pushy and good service. However after closing the deal with finance, keys appeared to be lost. In walks Tom Morris, Assistant Service Manager, Tom found the keys within a minute or 2 and we were on our way. 2 days later we found some issues with the car (check engine light, car bought as is) that needed somewhat potential expensive repairs. Back to the dealer we went, Tom Morris was there to greet us and we left the car. After service looked into the problems we needed what I am sure is well over $1,000 in repairs, we had driven the car only 10-15 miles. After 1 day in the shop Tom called and assured us the car would be taken care of and they had already started to take the engine apart for repairs. Several days went by and we talked to Tom on a daily basis and he assured us this would be taken care of. When we picked up the car, things were actually taken care of well beyond my expectations. I don't usually write reviews but Elgin Toyota, Tom Morris and the service team were outstanding, standing by the product they sold. I have had great service at other Elgin dealers over the years but Elgin Toyota was outstanding, will be back in a year or so to look at a new car for me. More
My dad and I went to the service one Saturday morning and cars were lining up one after another. We didn't have an appt so originally we were told their availability was at 2 PM which meant 4 hour wait for something that seemed like it could take 10-20 minutes to look into. All the mechanics were busy at the moment, so Rudy Rios took the initiative to take a look at the caps himself to investigate the noise since he had some experience in the field. As he was investigating the tires he was thorough. Being a very busy morning one may show the need to rush and hurry things up but Rudy Rios had a very professional mannerism in which he gave us his undivided attention until the work before him was completed. Purchased a certified used Camry from the dealer a few months ago; have brought it in 3 times to have a severe leftward pull checked. Each time they have said it was fixed; each time when I drive it home months ago; have brought it in 3 times to have a severe leftward pull checked.
