My wife and I went looking to test drive an Expedition Max which we did not intend to buy, it did not meet our wants for our next vehicle. While talking and telling him we did not intend to buy this particular Expedition, he and general sales manager Rachel Wood offered to help us find a vehicle we would be interested in. By the end of the day, they found a vehicle and had it delivered to Elk Grove Ford by the next day. We returned a day later and test drove and purchased the vehicle. Erik, Rachel and the finance manager, Tony, were all kind, straight forward, and helpful. The sales and finance staff is a professional group of people my family had the pleasure to work with. More

My salesperson, Erik Ventura, helped me get into a highly sought after Maverick XLT! The process was relatively smooth and the finance person was nice as well. I would like to say i bought my car here last year that was a very fast experience and they low balled me on my trade in. Secondly Kyle the service manger is one nasty human being! My extended warranty is set up to go through them first when i have a JEEP! you would think you would go to jeep not ford to get your car fixed. He said well you can’t fix it and there’s nothing you can do and just nasty. i will never recommend this place i hope someone talks to him and gives him a lesson on customer service! I paid 40k for my car so i feel as i should get some better service! also i have had not so pleasant interaction with finance as well too long to keep going on and on’ DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR HERE! More

If I could give less than a 1 star I would ABSOLUTELY give them a minus 4. After waiting 8 months to get the pickup I ordered,everything that I was told they would do, they did not. It was agreed on that all of my personal electronics would be switched over to my new pickup. NOT! I was told they would finance through my bank. NOT! I was supposed to get one trade in value for my trade in, instead it was much lower due to miles.... (had to get to work somehow). EVERYTHING the salesman said was a lie! When I did finally get my new pickup it was dirty and had minor scratches. They didn't even install the mud flaps or the plugs in the bed for the trailer hitch. They told us "some pickups don't come with them. we tried to get ahold of the salesman the next day, he was conveniently not there, next day...camping....ect. Not only will I NEVER buy another vehicle at Elk Grove Ford California, I strongly recommend that nobody else does ( unless you enjoy getting lied to). When it was all said and done they ran my 819 credit score through 4 different finance companies, which dropped my score 19 points. I was able to refinance it 2 weeks later (at my bank) for a lower payment AND lower interest rate. More

Made an appointment to get new tires and an oil change. Another unhappy customer. Do yourself a favor and take your Ford anywhere but here for service. We brought our vehicle in to get a check engine light diagnosed, they could not provide a reason or fault for the code, but instead tried to have us pay for add-ons that "might" fix the issue. They refused to properly troubleshoot the issue to determine what was causing the error, instead it was a guessing game. The service manager made it clear that this service department does not care if the customer is satisfied, they only want to collect your money. We will not be coming back. More

This place is a joke, if you can don’t walk but run away from going here. We bought a used explorer 2018 and 3 months owning it the transmission went out, so they did a key buy back and gave us a 2021 explo from going here. But that’s not the only thing, their service department is a piece of crap. They kept the car for a week and were scratching their heads cause they didn’t know what was wrong with the car. Saying that they had emailed ford corporate to see what’s wrong with the car. So I called corporate myself and they asked me “why are they calling us? , we don’t work on cars here. What a joke ford is. Every one pointing fingers to anyone. Three weeks went by and we hear nothing from Elk Grove. So we took it to Stockton ford and within a week they say it’s the transmission, it needs a new one. Being at wits end we go back to Elk Grove ford and see what they can do. Hahahaha they want to put us in a 2020 ford with little warranty… NO THANK YOU!! If anything they should give us what we want after dealing with 2 cars that were crap!! Lemon law here we come! Don’t give your money to this place, if they treat their customers like this, then they don’t deserve xxxx! Elk Grove Ford is a big JOKE! More
