ON 13TH I BOUGHT A USED CHRYSLER. RICHARD WORSTER WAS THE SALESPERSON AND M KHAN CALLING HIMSELF "M" THE FINANCE MANAGER DID THE PAPERWORK. HE WAS EXPLAINING ALL PAPERS AND WAS TELLIN RICHARD WORSTER WAS THE SALESPERSON AND M KHAN CALLING HIMSELF "M" THE FINANCE MANAGER DID THE PAPERWORK. HE WAS EXPLAINING ALL PAPERS AND WAS TELLING ME THAT "THIS IS PART OF IT" AT NO TIME DID MR M TELL ME THAT THESE WERE "OPTIONAL". HE TOLD ME THAT THESE WERE THE NEXT PART OF PAPERWORK. I WANTED TO READ BUT HE TOLD ME THAT HE IS EXPLAINING AND THAT I WILL BE GIVEN A SOFTCOPY OF ALL THE DOCUMENTS THAT I CAN READ AT MY LEASURE. WHEN I WAS GOING THROUGH THE DOCUMENTS, I SAW THAT THESE ITEMS WERE OPTIONAL AND NOT PART OF THE PACKAGE AS MR M STATED. I DO NO HAVE HIS EMAIL ADDRESS AND CONTACTED MR RICHARD WORSTER TO GIVE ME THE SAME BUT TO DATE MR RICHARD WORSTER HAS FAILED TO RESPOND. AS PER CALIFORNIA LEGISLATIVE INFORMATION, CIVIL CODE-CIV, CHAPTER 2B. AUTOMOBILE SALES FINANCE ACT [2981-2984.6], 2982.12 (B) (III) STOP AND READ: YOU CANNOT BE REQUIRED TO BUY A GAP WAIVER OR ANY OTHER OPTIONAL ADD-ON PRODUCTS OR SERVICES. IT IS OPTIONAL. NO ONE CAN MAKE YOU BUY A GAP WAIVER OR ANY OTHER OPTIONAL ADD-ON PRODUCTS OR SERVICES TO GET FINANCING, TO GET CERTAIN FINANCING TERMS, OR TO GET CERTAIN TERMS FOR THE SALE OF A VEHICLE. ALSO NOTE THAT I TOLD MR M THAT I WILL CHECK WITH MY BANK FOR THE APR AND GET BACK TO HIM. HE ASKED ME IF HE GETS A BETTER RATE WOULD WE GO AHEAD WITH THE DEAL, WE SAID YES. HE CAME BACK TO US AND TOLD US OUR BANK HAD HIGHER RATE AND THAT TD AUTO GAVE THE BEST DEAL. TRUSTING HIM WE WENT AHEAD. I TOLD HIM TODAY ABOUT IT AND HE SAID THAT WHEN HE ENQUIRED IT AS HIGH. They stated Lo Jack was mandatory and $1,500, when their own website says it is optional and can be removed. They misspelled my name and made an appointment to come to my house, then never showed up or called. But what really got me mad was a week later they emailed me a copy of the survey they said I filled out. It said the I agreed that the gas tank was full (it wasn’t, and I pointed it out to the sales guy who didn’t care), the car was prepared (I had to peel the protective film off of everything myself), and the functions were explained to me (he tried, but he didn’t know how to work the new car). And on the survey, my signature was FORGED on to it. I NEVER signed it, or even saw it before. So in short (I could go on), they are dishonest, lazy, and forgers. It’s too bad, because I like my new car, but every time I look at it I’m reminded of how dirty they did me. More
DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE! ! Damaged my vehicle and refuse to fix it. Brought my brand new (2 weeks old) Kia Telluride here 8/9/2022 for an alignment under warranty. Dropped ! Damaged my vehicle and refuse to fix it. Brought my brand new (2 weeks old) Kia Telluride here 8/9/2022 for an alignment under warranty. Dropped my vehicle off at 8:30 am and picked up at 4:15 pm when they called, which is a very excessive amount of time for an alignment. Upon picking up my vehicle my radio settings were changed to loud heavy rock music and my drive settings were also changed. I immediately felt it was odd and unprofessional, this made me fell my vehicle was taken for an excessive drive due to this, and also not being provided with my mileage out in my paperwork. Immediately when driving, my vehicle was pulling hard to the right, I had to constantly pull my wheel to left the whole drive home to keep my vehicle straight. Unbelievable that they would let a vehicle leave in that condition, worse than when it arrived. I called and spoke with my service advisor Dylan on my drive home and he said I could bring it back, however I had an appt at 5pm and was already without my vehicle for a full day for a simple alignment. Upon arriving home I see my bumper is scratched and paint chipped. My vehicle is brand new and I had also hand washed my vehicle the evening prior, so I know exactly the condition of my car. I also walked my vehicle upon drop off, as did Dylan the service rep. I signed a paper that stated their was zero damage to my vehicle as well with Dylan. I instantly called and left a message for their service manager Rich upon returning home regarding the damage, that same day. I never heard back the next day until I called again close to 5. He apologized and said he saw the message flashing on his phone and did not bother to check it (how professional). Upon speaking with him and emailing photos of the damage, he stated the next day that him and the GM "Terry" will not be paying for the damage that occurred to my vehicle in their possession. Bill the service manager did state to me that he does not agree with the general manager Terry but his hands are tied in the matter. I never actually got a call from the General Manager Terry, despite leaving a message for him. I have since paid for my own alignment to be done correctly from a reputable shop in my town, when it is something that should have been addressed with my warranty. This dealership is very unprofessional and mismanaged. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE if you value service, professionalism, and the condition of your vehicle. More

I been told all my life to avoid dealership service departments because they strong arm you. But not this one! I went in for a recall and a service and Freddy helped me out. Freddy informed me of the s departments because they strong arm you. But not this one! I went in for a recall and a service and Freddy helped me out. Freddy informed me of the service interval for my vehicle and helped me understand what the milestones are for my vehicle and when the big services are due. Got me taken care of and on my way! Afraid I can't recommend shopping here. I bought a Forte here a few months ago and I was forced to pay an extra $1300 for Cilajet (which is a coating that protects the paint and clearcoat). I can tell you f here a few months ago and I was forced to pay an extra $1300 for Cilajet (which is a coating that protects the paint and clearcoat). I can tell you from experience (I've sold Cilajet for years) that there was no Cilajet or other protective coating on this car. The clearcoat is already flaking off in several places and it doesn't have the hydrophobic properties of Cilajet. I talked to the finance department about refunding the $1300 of blatant fraud, they said they'd check the RO (workorder) and see if it was applied, and then they never called back. Not surprising - it took less than a minute to find other people here on DealerRater complaining about exactly the same thing. More
Highly recommend Brandon Calloway who happens to work for Kia Elk Grove. Brandon went out of his way to explain everything to my wife and I since we don’t know much about cars. Good bad , and the ugly ....So... The only good experience that I had was a salesman.. To sum it up, I was under the impression that celijet would get a seal coat on my vehicle, That would protec experience that I had was a salesman.. I signed because the interest rate was no doubts. Left and come to find out as I’m adding insurance they overcharge me about $4000 for the gap coverage as well as 100,000 mile warranty when my insurance representative said that they can. Offer the exact same coverage for only $350 in total, I decided to go back to the dealership and cancel these additional add-ons and get it through my insurance for substantially cheaper. When I did that they treated me horribly, also doubted that I’d get the same service. Made comments like wait till your car breaks down and it won’t cover the warranty. This is not only the worst part as I’m canceling these additional services that was obviously overcharged I was told that I cannot cancel the cilijet Coating as it was not optional because it was already comes with it, and they’re attempting to schedule an appointment for is just a re coat . I was OK with that because I was told that this was an excellent service for only $600 they would cover my whole car exterior and interior that would allow no scruffs marks damages tears are fading of interior or exterior, Trees could fall on it, rain could fall on it, it will just roll off is so great. And I believe it because all the cars in the show room had that on it and it looked amazing, with a warranty so it seemed worth it. As I received a call about two weeks later to schedule the cilijet coating I was told that this is not a re-coating that is actually the initial coat I was disappointed as I try to cancel it but was told I cannot because it’s on the car. I scheduled my appointment. Was very specific in doing so that I had to leave to work that morning by 9 AM they said no problem they will have a courtesy car waiting for me at 9 AM sharp. I show up to the dealership at 8:45 AM and they explain to me that there is no courtesy vehicles that they subbed out to either budget rental car or enterprise and that I would need to wait for a representative to come and pick me up. Not only that but of course I have to put a deposit with them. 30 minutes later as I am waiting budget rental comes to pick me up drives me about 10 minutes away to their rental car place, away over 30 minutes for them to have a Kia vehicle available for me. I must add they were extremely professional and try to help me out as much as possible, but at the same time told me that they are contracted for Kia vehicles only.. The vehicle I was given was extremely embarrassing it must have been like a 1990s car it was dirty and I was embarrassed to drive in it but what choice did I have I had to be at work. The service is supposed to take 24 hours so the next day I called them in dire need to obtain my actual vehicle back which is a 2021 Kia K5. They told I had to wait between 10 and 11 AM which is over the 24 hour well I showed up anyways about 840 8:55 AM and the service says yeah Let me go grab your car. He pulls my car around in about 15 minutes and I could not believe it my car was extremely dirty. The Cilijet coating they put on had smugud marks throughout the whole vehicle inside and out smudge marks as if somebody smudged an oily hand on your window. This was the least about 25 areas throughout the exterior of the car and the interior was smudge mark on the seat in the side panels, windows, When I asked The representative she explained it will go away I took a lot of detailed pictures after seeing everything I went back in and asked for service manager. He came out and I showed him not only the smudge marks on the exterior and interior but also smudge marks were the Cilijet coating does not go like on my side windows on my stereo white powder substance on areas that it does not go on. He said I am so sorry this does not look right let me take it back and fix it for you. He takes about 20 minutes and comes back out and it looks exactly the same. Then he goes into detail explaining to me that this coating is only a subsurface like a wax service and I explain to him that I could’ve gotten new rims, a full car detail with this wax for the same price I paid for Celijet . I’ve seen vehicles with this coating and they look fantastic so I feel terrible for Cilijet being unrepresented by this Kia dealer. If you have the option to remove this do not get your car with this at least from Kia anyways. They will do a horrible job and the excuse I kept getting was that there are departments are not connected so who I purchased a car from, who schedule my appointment, who did the service, is not the same department regardless the service department did a horrible horrible job as well as every other department. The only thing good about this was a sales representative that help me he should leave Kia of Elk grove . At The end of the day I need to get my car completely detailed this happened two days ago from today and it’s been raining and I’ll tell you what my car looks even worse than before My car looks like somebody sprayed it with soap all over it it has done nothing for my vehicle at all.and it protects against nothing. Save yourself the extra money do not add this to your contract. Do not do what they tell you. More
