I bought a used 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sahara from Empire. I had been searching for a specific Jeep for months, with certain options and this dealership had the one. We ran into a hitch near the end of the deal that Steven, at his position could not resolve. The used car manager was brought in and wasn't willing to negotiate a solution and pretty much let me walk away from the deal. As I was getting back into my car to make the 3.5 hour trip back home, without my new to me vehicle, a voice larger than life called out my name. I turned to see Giuseppe approaching me. I deal with a lot of people in my life, and I can tell an authentic person from the ones you just don't want to deal with. Giuseppe came right up and we just started talking about life and our dogs. I knew right away this guy was someone that gets things done and with him up to bat for me, there was no way I was leaving without my car. We chatted about the issues, worked out a solution and he went to the powers to be and got things straightened out. If it wasn't for him, I'd have left without the car I came to buy. Super nice guy, larger than life personality and a straight shooter. I would do business again with this dealership just because of Steven my sales rep and Giuseppe, the closer!!! LOL. Steven was up front, honest and helpful from the first phone call to the point I finalized the purchase of my used 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I wish that all the sales personnel I have delt with in my life were as nice and hard working as Steven was for me. He is the total opposite of what anyone might imagine a used car salesman is like. I live three states away and was not able to get up there to see the Jeep in person. I asked about the overall condition of the interior and most important, being in the salt belt during winter, how the undercarriage of this Jeep was. He Facetimed me and walked around the Jeep and went through the interior and most of all he actually crawled under the Jeep, outside on a freezing cold day, while Facetiming me and showed the whole underneath to put my mind at ease. Unheard of, he is amazing!! I can't think of any sale rep I've delt with in the past that would have gone above and beyond like Steven did. I am out of state, and he kept in touch with me on a regular basis keeping me in the loop and finalizing all the documents until I could make it up there to finish the deal. He has a great personality, and I highly recommend that anyone going to Empire Chrysler Jeep Ram of West Islip, NY, request Steven Pollina as the salesperson to represent them for their next vehicle purchase.
