After a disappointing experience elsewhere, it was refreshing to work with the service team at Garden City CDJR.
I brought my 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL with the eTorque system in for a diagnostic on the 48V hybrid battery pack. I had some unusual readings from the BPCM using JScan and wanted to have it checked with wiTECH, the factory diagnostic tool. It wasn’t a major repair, but it was the kind of preventative diagnostic that most owners wouldn’t normally request.
Ms. Santiago, my service advisor, was attentive from the start. Because I came in with a lot of technical details, she brought over Mr. Chenei, one of the master technicians, so I could explain everything clearly. Both of them understood what I was asking for and performed the diagnostic without issue. They gave me a clear explanation and peace of mind that the hybrid battery pack wasn’t showing signs of imminent failure.
They also proactively took care of another issue with the vehicle while I was there. Additionally, I had a good conversation with Mr. Dorceus, who wasn’t my assigned advisor but offered helpful insight on how different CDJR service departments handle things.
It’s rare to find a service department that actually listens, takes the time to understand the concern, and treats customers with respect. I left feeling like my questions were taken seriously, and I’ll definitely be returning to Garden City for future service.
